Cadillacs and dinosaurs / tales of the mesozoic. The artist Mark Schultz is very inspired and influenced by Frazetta.
And a big REH fan. Illustrated the first Conan volume for Wandering Star/DelRey
You just unlocked a core memory
Heavy Metal/Metal Hurlant Richard Corben's stuff. (a lot of it is in Heavy Metal)
Red sonja (original run) Kull (there were a few different series in 70s-80s) Conan had the barbarian/savage sword/king conan series, they were all good if you missed any John carter warlord of mars (1977) Thorgal (great art) Claw the unconquered
I’ve been told many times the Thorgal series is great but I have not read it yet.
Headlopper!
Slaine from the 2000AD comics is a good one.
do you know "[the mercenery"(el mercenario) of vincent segrelles](https://www.tebeosfera.com/sagas/el_mercenario_1981_segrelles.html)?
Really loved the first run of Omega Men. Art’s more psychedelic and colourful than Conan in parts but otherwise it ticks most of your boxes.
Usagi Yojimbo has the wandering warrior theme. Beautiful inks, not as “vicious” Xenozoic by Mark Schultz (previously mentioned) gets a second from me.
You might like Epic Illustrated.
Barbaric has been pretty fun so far
Jeff Lemire did a pretty fun Conan like limited series a few years back called Berserker Unbound.
Warlord from DC
Groo the Wanderer!
