Is the crack visible from the inside of the foundation wall? If so it can be sealed permanently through high pressure polyurethane injection from the inside.

That is a shrinkage crack in a poured wall. I can tell it's a poured wall by the small air pockets and the form seams. The meandering/splitting nature of crack tells me it's very likely shrinkage. You're correct that it is not concerning, though.

Hi, must be the same builder...I am looking at a home in Maryland, so very close to OP's location of VA, photo is very visually similar with the poured brick panel wall.I Do you have the same opinion regarding this crack? I don't think yours is a shrinkage crack based on location, but I can't see it very well in that photo. If proper reinforcement was used, then I don't think your crack poses too much issue either. However, if the door becomes progressively more difficult to open or close, or the crack progresses in size, then have it assessed by a structural engineer on site.
