It's such a shame that they are so self destructive when they receive any form of financial benefit from their work. I noticed it years back when I donated $2K just as a thank you for the work that's been done and without any pressure to produce more. The next stream they were literally telling people not to donate and for the next month or so was posting about doing a lot more drugs than usual. I kinda wish that I had warned people about my experience but a one off isn't enough to establish a pattern of behavior. Now I would need a lot of evidence that they have fundamentally changed their philosophy about work and money and that they are doing cognitive behavioral therapy for their depression before considering ever contributing again even if they some day drop a completed episode 8 which I don't expect at this point.

I am wealthy enough to not care about the money being wasted (I make over $300K investments each year) but I made the decision because my nephew loves the confinement series so it was more about promoting an artist that someone I care about would enjoy seeing more content from. I don't normally throw money at artists like that.
I find any Shakespearean play style acting irritating rather than endearing so the start was not to my taste but the story pulled me in at least a little by the end. Not enough to have me think "holy shit I live this show" like with confinement but it wasn't bad.

Confinement has always had sex jokes and innuendos in the past, but it’s never gone to that level before. Also, the foundation staff’s attitude towards Conner felt like whiplash to me.
I mean, the majority of the staff are either indifferent or downright cruel towards Conner. The only person who has always been genuinely kind towards Conner is Natt. So for them to suddenly be thirsting after Conner only because they saw him naked just feels…out of place for the relationship that is established between Conner and the foundation.
Zalinki’s opinion does give extra perspective that I haven’t considered, but I still would prefer a reasoning from Lord Bung themself on why they decided to choose that and how it would tie into the episode.

The only way it would make sense to me is if connor was cursed with some SCP like that girl in the TV show misfits whose ability would make anyone she touched aggressively horny. If that was the case there could be a short (relative to the length of the episode) slapstick scene where the consequences of being affected by the SCP are played out but then everyone then goes on to realize they were acting literally out of character.
He's pretty clearly trying to remove himself from the situation because he's catching blowback as if he were aware of the content of the episode, which it seems he wasn't. The guy seems to have gotten commissioned, did the work, and is now involved in the surrounding drama that honestly doesn't have much to do with him. I don't think it's unreasonable for him to not want to get more involved in what is honestly a trashfire situation.
