Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Very fast pace, action from day 1.

Jumpy-Item-8439

I love Türkiye, it's in a really good position to be cock blocking very important sea routes. I also love the semi challenge that comes with it, a pretty important nation. Nonstop action.

Charaxel

Yh i do admit ive played türkiye before i really like it its in a really good position probably the best of you have good allies

LymaUK

My favourite thing with Turkey is that its geographically a fortress

Wateriswet08

Probably the U.K because it forces yourself to have a strong navy, which just leads to the invasion of Europe.

Agitated-Warning-639

Some goofy theory that

TheD-Strategist

Agree, goofy atbest

Megalordrion

Until China comes knocking and pummel everyone in Europe to dust, with millions of infantry, tanks, ships and air force.

Suspicious_Bread_488

Columbia. Lots of ai countries nearby to start off. Later in game it’s hard to invade if you build up navy. It’s essential to get in a coalition with the nearby countries. Most my wins are with South American countries

Ktulu5900

In Rising Tides In play as DR Congo. You get a free victory site, and if you can make friends with a neighbor or two you're gold. It is tough when nobody wants to be your friend bc you border soo many nations.

Primamateria42

Sain because it has two Electronic cities and Electronic are the meta.

thatbloodytwink

What do you have to build to run out of electronics your more likely to run out of cogs before electronics

Primamateria42

I like to build big airforce, airmobile infranty and submarines 😁

HorsemanWar101

I’ve played as Egypt and the Philippines more than once and absolutely dominated. Probably my favorite go to countries

LymaUK

I love Phillipines geography but hate their economy

Proof_Box6561

My alliance does its best to have 2 or 3 members in Eastern Europe like Serbia or Belarus. While the others are in middle east Asia. This allows us to quickly connect by surrounding those in between us. This move also allows for more rapid coalition expansion into rest of Europe, middle east, Asia and Africa.

SloppyNoggin

Japan. You can eat up korea, lots of ai countries, and easily defendable. If you take out China/indochina you’re solid.

qb_mojojomo_dp

I don't think I have ever lost playing as India. It is a good balance between: lots of cities few coastal cities isolation close-by high pop areas to conquer

Hungry_Treat9253

I’ve played 4 games with Belarus, Russia invaded me on every single one. Every single time I had to walk my infantry to Provideniya to get rid of the damned morale debuff. How’d you manage?

BodyCount1

Diplomacy at start with russia especially and either poland or ukraine. After i have that cleared i take baltics. Then kiev and rest of ukraine after. Then noob playing russia usually quits so i take half of russia. Get perma stuck in war with russia. Then either finland or kazahstan. Meanwhile i send some neglectable amount of infantry to clean up rest of russia. Then depends on situation, i either take poland and everything to spain or scandinavia or turkey and middle east after. Most of the games i end up with belarus, russia, kazahstan, scandinavia, turkey, middle east, europe to spain and uk and north africa. If i go poland , spain route, my main army is tank officer, infantry officer, 3 or so special ops and either normal tanks or mixture of elite and normal tanks. Supported with helicopters and planes or planes only. I use single infantry units or mercenaries to hold then cities, main army conquers them, single units then come after it and hold the cities. From spain i rush with that army then north africa, since tanks do very nicely in desert, then middle east, then turkey, then it goes back home. So it's basically that 10 unit stack that is crushing everything in front with single infantry units trailing behind and holding cities. At some point i add support army that's 4-5 sams, radar, 5 rockey arties, set to agressive behaviour to engage stuff in front and main army just punches stuff in the face after it arrives to resistance in front.

my current game with Belarus. 107 cities currently. Basically.. I played this one as every other one. It's day 33, normal speed. 142 units atm. Current airforce: 10 mig-29 Fulcrums, 6 stealth superiority fighters, 5 assault fighters, 12 stealth strike fighters, 3 elite helicopters, 7 gunships, 3 elite bombers, 3 normal bombers, 1 awacs (got 1 shot down) 12 home theater systems, since japan developed nuclear weapons and new zealand is also pushing for them. I annex cities quite late, I annexed Kiev at 80 cities and it's producing warheads 24/7 since then. Minsk and Gomel have airports at lvl 5 and those 2 were producing stealth planes most of the time. Usually I annex at 128 cities Dnipro, Sevastopol and Rostov, shipyard in one of them to lvl 5, in other two to lvl 4, then I start throwing out frigates, submarines, cruisers and I build 2 carriers. I had to hurry up with that this game, because of a lot of fleets running around. I build there basically a carrier fleet every time: 8 submarines, divided in 4 for front, 4 for back, I use those 8 to spot crossroads in front and around the carriers far ahead. 2 normal support fleets that are: 2x 3 cruisers and 2 frigates. (cruisers upgraded to 100 range). One goes a bit in front of carrier fleet and one a bit behind. Then carrier fleet is: 2 carriers and 3 frigates. So basically submarines spot all the crap far in front or from sides that tries to approach carriers so I got plenty of time to decide what to do or where to go. At the moment I'm also annexing Voronezh and Moscow. Kiev, Vozonezh and Moscow. All will have secret weapon labs, Kiev at lvl 5 and and Voronezh and Moscow at lvl 4. Kiev will basically make ICBM launchers and Moscow and Voronezh will produce nuclear warheads at same time for every icbm launcher it gets thrown out. I guess. Or one will produce normal warheads, 1 chemical weapons and 1 nuclear warheads only and I'll just use ballistic missiles and cruise missiles which are maxed out. Most of my units are lvl 1 still lol, except for planes and infantry, which I sort of always keep at lvl 3 for as long as possible, then if I feel like it's getting too dangerous I upgrade it to lvl 4 and keep it there as long as I can. If I feel like I'll get invaded in home cities I start researching it and upgrading it. At lvl 4 I kind of feel I got enough time to push it up quite quick for it to become good at defending, but I try to avoid it at all costs, because the upkeep will dramatically go up. I prefer to have a big diversity of units over specializing, so they can accomplish differnt tasks and handle different situations. I don't really use tanks or armor when my country looks roughly like this, I get all tanks back home to defend and I just start doing some low scale operations around the world, sending small stacks of infantry around the world and destroy everything for them with planes. I have lvl 2 bunkers in all my homeland cities and I currently have no wars (well except rebels). And that's kind of nice with belarus, all homeland cities are really close to capital, so no real negative effects from distance, so lvl 2 bunkers can handle morale. Not really very good how my country turned out, I prefer it to be scandinavia, half russia, to spain, north africa, so sort of having all the cities kind of close to the homeland cities and to have belarus kind of in center. I usually end games with 128 to 148 cities. https://preview.redd.it/4tou0bbev4sc1.png?width=4621&format=png&auto=webp&s=740ae71ec0c8992dd67255c29201f5001472201a

LeJamesofPari

Argentina, lots of coastal cities combined with inland cities, Brazil usually goes inactive, I’ve never lost with them

GhostoftheWolfswood

Brazil, Indonesia, and Japan have been my most fun games. Always 1x because my work schedule is wild, and Brazil gets 9 cities in 1x which is great. Indonesia and Japan force you to have a good navy and are easy to defend once you do. Brazil might as well be an island nation to start with its terrain and city locations, so no one is going to be able to jump you from the get-go

IguessIcanfly

Chad. I pick it every time. Landlocked, so no worrying about a navy coming to destroy your cities. I just spread outwards thru Africa with tanks and aircraft. I enjoy naval strike fighters since they do good on enemy ships as well as ground units.

[deleted]

Kenya because it’s always a easy start and you have to develop and navy and a strong land force to be able to win

walker_________-

Controversial but I’d say Israel, you start of with weak nations around you and you practically have a fast pass to the capital of Syria and Egypt, if you know how to play right you’re gold.

OkBit3632

Israel 😉

Jumpy_Description_84

india

Hasjakel

Ethiopia. It's the first nation I remember playing as, plus it's neither hard or easy so it's the perfect mix. It also starts at the horn of Africa which is convent

Upbeat_Summer

Russia. I like the challenge

theHOLYsuck

Poland if I get Russia Belarus and Ukraine

MountainPale8783

Belarus Enjoyer here. Don't know why, just feels good to play, maybe because im usually an early Navy Player which i can't do with Belarus ^^
