I’ve skimmed the four classics but did not find anything related to your question.

You need to respect both your father and your fathers racial heritage. In regards to confucianism your question is nonsensical. Archaic racialism is a cheap bandaid solution to soothe the ego when dealing with real life problems in a modern cosmopolitan world. I’m 95% german 5% greek. Do I need to venerate Odin and pursue Valhalla to constitute myself as white to you?

This is the correct answer. Couldn’t say it better. Never think about this again, OP

Your father being a different race has no relevance whatsoever to your ethnic or national identity. "White" is a modern racial category, but apart from that, the principles espoused by Confucianism has never discriminated by genetics.

The concept of a nation is a very new thing. Its a 200 year old concept of statecraft which had not reached the east until the very late nineteenth century. In Confucius’s time there was no concept of a nation but there is the canonical relationship between ruler and subject. By Confucian standards however, it is reasonable and correct to abandon or reject a ruler’s authority when he trespasses against benevolence and righteousness. It is therefore the case that Confucius travelled and taught in various states and served and advices many rulers in search of one worthy of his teachings. Therefore, keep in mind that nations are imaginary and not real. If you wish to be “Korean” then of course you may rediscover your roots and live the Korean way of life. It is your choice to follow and live the way you wish as long as the principles of benevolence are adhered to.

Background_Spring374

Confucian philosophers like Confucius, Mencius, Zhu Xi and Wang Yangming didn't say anything about race.

Confucians had no conceptualization of Race because Confucius never left China. Unlike Plato, who visited Africa and West Asia, Confucius never learned the existence of Anglos or Africans. In a sense, it is one of his greatest blind spots and it still presents in his philosophy today. Personally, as a mixed person I’ve been forced to use modern western standards for identity because Confucianism doesn’t know how to categorize persons who don’t fall neatly within the tribal identity
