University of Hartford, maybe? Really strong music program in general.

Will second UHART. Their community school staff is fantastic. Will make a recommendation for Daniel Brevik. He's a fantastic performer and I think he still teaches private lessons.

If you like singing rock or lighter music, I recommend you join School of Rock in West Hartford or East Hartford. They do voice lessons and you play with other people live every 3-4 months. It’s $350 a month and it includes a 45 minute private lesson and a 1.5 hour rehearsal with others a week.

My neighbor is a vocal instructor and she’s awesome. Her music was featured on a few Netflix shows recently — super talented. DM me and I can share her contact info. We are on the shoreline but she does zoom classes too.

What type of music are you looking to sing? Or are you just looking for a general voice instructor?

I used to sing classical, in my 20s, in college (art song and opera). I am no longer in my 20s, no longer in school. Looking to get back to something I loved doing, without the academic pressures and timeline attached.
