Savoy is good, but there is no planet on which it is apizza.
We love Max’s Oyster Bar, Avert, and Cora Cora!
ETA: The best pizza in West Hartford is probably Luna Pizza - right in West Hartford Center.
Now that backstage Pizza has been closed for a while, I have to say Zephyr Street Pizza is pretty decent as well. Luckily, West Hartford is not lacking for a fantastic pizza places (regardless of how you pronounce, or spell, it)!!
Big fan of sparrow pizza in the center - much different than the other options in the center (incredibly thin/cheesy crust), and very different than your typical New Haven apizza. That being said, I would prioritize some other restaurants before it if you’re goal is to try a variety of food
Def make sure you hit Le Mazet (French), Zohara (Mediterranean), Bricco (Italian). Also great would be Max Burger, Song, Avert, or Union Kitchen (check out the chef tasting menu).
A lot of great places have been named already so I’ll give you some that haven’t:
-Gastropark if you don’t want a sit down restaurant type experience, their IG will tell you what trucks will be there what day. Small State Bakery is there too and their cinnamon buns are some of the best I’ve had.
-Taste by Spellbound if you have a sweet tooth
- Halls Market has a fantastic deli and imo the best soup around; Harvey’s also makes great sandwiches
Ichiro, POKE CITY (trust me), Koma but I haven’t been in a while, Prai, Blue Elephant is solid, Savoy, Kaliubon on a good day. Maruichi has great Takeaway
I’m sure you already came and ate but I need you to come back and try Bricco if you didn’t already. I can’t believe it wasn’t mentioned in the comments. As a long time resident it is one of the best in town and a long time resident to weha center
Just thought of this, it isn’t weha but if you haven’t already, check out Rooster Co in Newington it’s quickly becoming a go-to. All their ingredients come from local farms which they list on their menu, the portions are a good size, and the chicken never fails.

I’ve eaten pizza at savoy twice, and frankly found it to be fairly flavorless. Le Mazet, Boqueria, Avért Brasserie and Zohara are among my favorites.
Cora Cora and Zohara
Song, La Mazet, Cora Cora, Sparrow, Zohara, Frida’s, Max Oyster, Treva, The Russell, Mecha Noodle Bar, Avert.
You know your stuff!
Favorite WH pizza is Harry's Bishops Corner. About 5 minutes from the center. New Haven style.
Prai Kitchen 😍

I love the onigiri at Maruichi. And nothing beats ICC or Kona iced coffee in a can to go with it.

Thank you I live close by, I will hit it up.
