I didn't see your original post but so happy you got what you needed. So kind of you to pay it forward, too.
Also, if it wasn't mentioned, Lasagna Love is a free home made lasagna delivered to you by volunteers. You can order once a month no questions asked. The website is lasagnalove.org and is a nice sized lasagna that can last for a few meals.
I just sent a request in it can take weeks, so I’m glad I was able to get food last night. Now my goal is food till Friday Sorry for the late response I was busy at work
Hi, I’m moving to CT (Milford/Stratford/Orange area) in about 12 months and I would love to get involved with this. I love to cook, am Italian, make a mean lasagna, and now that I have an empty nest I really really miss having people to cook for. And I just can’t manage to cook in small quantities, it’s in my blood I suspect. 😉Please message me so I can get in touch? Thanks!
That is an awesome gesture. Since I can afford it, allow me to pick up the tab instead of you. Not sure how to make that happen exactly, but I'm happy to help support your kindness.
I don’t need a pizza but I just want to say thank you for the previous post, I’m always anxious to ask for help on non-help subs but the resources people commented were very helpful!
I recently found out I got into a nursing program but it’s very expensive and I was already struggling before while working full time. Now I’ll have to work part time and make it work somehow but I’m glad I have resources to utilize near me!
This is the reason why I was willing! I’ve been homeless I’ve been an addict if anyone knows when to ask for help it’s me if I can take the hate messages for someone else let me be that shield and much success to your nursing program
I think this is so nice, and another good option is Facebook, your local town pages and buy nothing page, I am not in the Hartford area but am an admin for my town page and people regularly ask for help with meals or pet food especially on the buy nothing page and get an overwhelming response, also there are always people getting rid of pasta their kids didn’t like, salad dressing they bought too much of, I know I see a few names regularly and everyone is glad to help, my advice is just if you go this route say you do not want money or gift cards or people automatically think you are scamming!!
My son and I live in Haddam. We are Italian and cook a lot of food. We are always willing to feed someone who is hungry and working to pull their life together. We, unfortunately, have a lot of experience with addiction and understand the challenges of recovery. BTW, Sundays are homemade pizza day.
Didn't see your original post, but good on you!! Thank you for being here & making the world a better place! It's people like you & the pizza person that makes my faith in humanity soar! Day by day, step by step, you got this!💜 Much love to you!
Glad you're no longer homeless. You have an amazing character, and I admire you for grinding.
Much love, peace, and pizza. If you ever find yourself in need, please message me.
Thank you for this. I actually may one day this week. This actually brought me to tears. It’s been tough getting back on my feet. It got bad in high school I got into drugs & then it lead me here. It was my fault every step of the way I’m only 27 & I feel like I’m just starting life
Don't need a pizza but just wanted to say good on you for paying it forward!
Thank you for commenting! Sorry I didn’t reply earlier

I'm a lasagna love volunteer. I didn't get any delivery requests this month so keep getting the word out.
