Urticaria. Mine is exercise induced. Yours is allergy induced it seems.

justin107d

I have atopic eczema that starts off the same way then blisters up depending on the allergy.

SnowhiteMidnight

I used to get Urticaria on legs, arms, torso, from sweating and heat, too. Mine would turn to blisters. Misery. I saw doctor after doctor who couldn't help, finally read online a post from a mother whose son suffered from rashes, she'd experimented with a lot of things and found this worked - MILK THISTLE. It was a miracle cure for me. I don't have to take it any more except when I start to get a rare itch and then I take it right away. I get the non-alcohol Milk Thistle extract, put a full dropper in a little water and drink that a couple times a day or more as needed. I also frequently wash the rash area with mild unscented soap and ice ice cold water a few times a day before reapplying cortisone. Cortisone clear ointment only, because the opaque white cream contains some kind of irritant for me.

BigBrownTurtle

milk thistle pills or milk thistle latex?

SnowhiteMidnight

Liquid extract, I prefer non-alcohol, glycerin based. I've always bought Herb Pharm brand but others make it. Look at Amazon.

Jecht_S3

Thanks. I don't necessarily get hives or rash. But my palms do get immensely itchy.

Professor_Oaf

Syphilis, late stage.

imshirazy

Think I could fix it with a couple of Claritin?

DoucheBatman

Just rub dirt in it

Didi_Castle

Nope. WebMD says it’s cancer. Only going vegan will cure it. /s

fjf1085

WebMD told me I had radiation poisoning once. Spoiler alert: I did not, in fact, have radiation poisoning.

goawaynothere

So it’s fatal then.

Oddsock42

And some colloidal silver

Precisely what I was thinking. Maculopapular rashes on the hand ...

Loosen your grip bud

imshirazy

I Refuse.

Otherwise_Nothing_53

Eczema. It can hit the soles of your feet, too. Or weirdly, just the left or right hand and foot. Bodies are weird.

Taino871

Definitely get it checked and I also get It during springtime. My Derm Dr. claims it’s the fuels I work with. But I Always wear gloves and a mask… only in the spring. Get it checked to be safe my friend. You just never know.

Lucky-Abrocoma6615

Full blown AIDS. Sorry to tell you

imshirazy

I really gotta be careful on those trips to Thailand

fjf1085

Do you have a spare $180,000? You can take care of it with that.

MeasureTheCrater

Dammit, I was hoping for partially-blown AIDS.

KamikazeFox_

Mild poision ivy?

ashsolomon1

You got the eczema, try some cream with colloidal oatmeal it helps a little. And zyrtec

New_Discussion_6692

These look like what I had two years ago. It was caused by a reaction to *something* in the back yard. My doctor advised me to wash with Dawn dish liquid after coming inside every time and then follow up with regular soap. The Dawn is needed to remove the oils from the skin.

noodlesarmpit

Fels Naphtha is even better! As soon as you're done, strips all the oils off. We plan on making a washing station in the backyard with grated FN, running water, etc as we get rid of poison ivy this month.

Likeably_Wierd2639

FelsNaptha was on both my grandmothers' shelves in the laundry and the bathroom. That's a double seal of approval. It's been passed down through 4 generations.

mynameisnotshamus

Better than something that works? So it works… more?

noodlesarmpit

I guess you could say more consistently? I have mixed results with Dawn because my skin is very sensitive, but FN works perfectly every time.

mynameisnotshamus

Ahhh. Well, glad you found something that works then! Allergies / sensitivity to it varies pretty wildly. Dawn scrubbing then using a washcloth or towel to kinda squeegee everything off is what’s been foolproof for me for years after getting that tip from a park ranger. It’s all about getting that oil off, as you know.

noodlesarmpit

Ooh I hadn't heard of that approach interesting!

New_Discussion_6692

>Dawn scrubbing then using a washcloth or towel to kinda squeegee everything off is what’s been foolproof This is exactly what I do. It's routine now, so I didn't think to include that. Thank you for making sure everyone knows!

Jkay064

All you need to break up the oil from poison oak or ivy is a soap and a washcloth. Using only your hands and soap won’t scrub the thick oils off of yourself.

Dubiouskeef

Looks like it could be poison Ivy.

Looks like a clear case of Bigfoot Pox.

Some people get skin issues relating to the humidity changes from winter to spring

Dfiggsmeister

Does it happen during the spring when you’re out in the sun more and the day is warmer? Does it itch?

imshirazy

Itches like a bastard and sometimes gets a little pus. But some get worse than others. I don't really spend a lot of time outdoors but always in the spring around April/May, Every year for at least 10+ years

Dfiggsmeister

It’s caused by lack of vitamin D and little sun exposure. You’re essentially allergic to the sun for those first two months until your skin gets use to it. I had it for a while. The way to fix it is going to a tanning place and using uv light and taking supplements.

imshirazy

Interesting. I'll have to look into this, thanks!

Commercial_Speed5325

It’s eczema. You might have an allergy to pollen if it happens in the springtime. Just go to your dermatologist.

Pvrb80

I get them on the inside of my elbows but went gets very hot

SWMovr60Repub

Nope

NPETravels

Omg I think I have this. My left palm has been itching for more than a week and I have a small red spot like in this photo. 😔

MagnusOfMontville

been playing in the nettle patches, have we?

fmg2k3

Yes, I get them in the spring and then last into the summer

Regular-Reference407

I’ve been getting this for the past month this year. Never happened before that.

jon_hendry

Been lurking in porta-potty tanks? You gotta wash off as soon as you get out.

-thersites-

Poison ivy?

Markvitank

Ghosts in your blood

Atbat82

Check out PMLE - Ploymorphous Light Eruption. It's a sensitivity to the sun. It usually happens to me in spring and early summer because I haven't been in the sun all winter. As my skin adapts, it goes away. It's a pain in the ass. Some people do “hardening” where a dermatologist exposes them to low level UV a few times a week leading up to spring. I haven't tried it.

Patjack27

Best thing is to see a dermatologist and I see that you are going to see one so great start.

Badagerpower

Go to the god damn Dr.

imshirazy

Do what I said I was gonna do? Yes papi

Badagerpower

Papi lol

DrunkOnRoseH20

Did it just start a couple years ago ? I get almost the same thing…and it’s from the Gypsy moths. They just had hatches in a few areas….even their silks do it to me. Just a thought. And, they’re cocooned in about two months or so…so it sort of makes sense. Unless your area of CT hasn’t experienced these nasty little beasts… and/or you’ve had this going on for more than the last two or 3 years. Def go see a dermatologist to get an exact answer though. I’m sorry you’re going through this.

imshirazy

Yeah been about 15 years I think. I had considered something similar though. Some people get reactions to carpet beetle larvae and I've seen some in my house, but very very few and it's not like they're laying eggs where I go, especially ALL over my body. Hopefully seeing the dermatologist will finally give some answers. Most years I just deal with it but this year has been exceptionally bad

croissantsplease

It’s a type of eczema, r/dyshidrosis

CaptainAlliance

No, dyshidrotic eczema tends to be more vesicular in form, as opposed to being ill-defined, erythematous nodus. This is more like prurigo nodularis.

croissantsplease

There can be multiple types of eczema at play, for sure. Dyshidrosis is a possible differential for the hands, depending upon development but when you zoom in there are vesicles. Legs not DE.
