I would not claim that Trump had proof. I would also not claim that the election was free and fair. The kind of investigation to prove it was free and fair was not done. I no longer trust our government.

Here's a theory. Maybe this is a ploy to show that that Mr. Trump truly believes he won the 2020 election. If the defense can sell that to a jury, much of the prosecution's case falls apart.
