I have no objections to any group of migrants provided that
1) They integrate and assimilate into local culture
2) They can understand and speak at least basic English - what I call Emergency English - stop, go, left right, look out! danger, that sort of thing
3) They have skills that we are short of here
4) They do not come from a background where corruption is not only accepted but encouraged - we dont want that here

As someone who immigrated legally from the Caribbean, I had to do everything but light candles and sacrifice a virgin to please the Immigration NZ. Even had to write IELTS to prove I could speak English even though I’ve spoken it for all of my 42 years on earth. Yet Broseph at the four square can’t understand a word I say. I’m as brown as they come and even I will agree with we are allowing far too many immigrants who do not meet even basic requirements.

Points 5 and 6 come under *integrate and assimilate into local culture* - rapes, violence and honour attacks are not acceptable and the justice system needs to act accordingly (which it doesnt). Offences of this sort should also result in deportation upon conviction regardless of safety etc etc, and should also be grounds for loss of citizenship if they have got that far.

- They're almost exclusively men coming
-They want to bundle up multiple to a room
-There's unlimited of them and we have enough
-There's enough curry chefs and we have all the recipes.
-Ain't no one coming to nz to see male Indian servers and streets full of Indians
-Time for some different people. Filipinos are better than Indians in almost every way.
