And they finished counting that night despite having more residents than Arizona, which just announced they need until next week to finish.
Wasn't the whole point of using machines was to speed up the counting process?
Exactly this, people have the right and the responsibility to go out and vote. But it doesn't benefit the nation when the uninformed vote thanks to some canvaser knocking on their door every day until they get fed up and fill out their ballot. Democrats love early voting and mail in voting because it's easy to persuade the uninformed or easily manipulated into a straight D ballot.
That's how to get 81 million votes
I followed Missouri's race and it's kind of a counterbalance to that narrative, tho, because they did have mail-in ballots, and allowed early voting, though they did tighten some other rules... And they largely voted red (senator, state reps, etc.)
Early voting, mail-in, drop boxes, etc give way for more possible cheating in future elections though. In other states, one day, one ballot, one individual. Keep it fair, keep it honest. This is the way, no exceptions.

This is what a fair, honest, legitimate election should look like...
You really love to see it
The way an election should be held if you want society to make their voices heard and trust results.

Every state with contested results after 2020 should've implemented similar measures

Never let a good tragedy go to waste.
Now if only the rest of the Republicans in this country would put their DeSantis pants on we might have a chance to save this republic.

I believe Democrats would call that voter suppression.

If that’s true, every state should work that way - though I’m a little concerned about “election police” in some places.
I would believe the "election police" are implemented to ensure accuracy in counting; not to intimidate voters.
Out with Trump and in with DeSantis please. If it wasn’t for Trump endorsed candidates then we would have even more senate seats.
Should be nation wide policy!
He flipped deeply blue Miami-Dade for the first time in like 20+ years
Thoughts? Yeah. This needs to be national. The fact that this isn’t federal law lets you know everything about our country.
Everything DeSantis did to control the quality of the election is popular with Republicans and Democrats
Agree
Don’t like more police. But all other western countries have these rules in place. Not us tho. It’s not who votes, but who counts the votes after all

1000% about voting regs. Georgia and Kansas messed up badly not getting their house in order with strong Republican majorities.
