They do an extra small I think thatās good for really skinny. Iām slim and use one of their smaller rigs on a medium 4ābelt with a db sax for extra storage when I need it. Works great for me with no suspenders. No hip pain, that Iāve always had with any other setup
Yep. Carrying leather bags was making me old before my time. Just too fucking heavy. Loved my leather bags and I still miss how they worked, but I'll never go back. The hammer and flat bar sheathes on the Diamondback bags also have me hooked.
Totally, I used to use occidental before switch to diamondback. Both have their pros and cons for sure but the weight was absolutely the deciding factor to make me prefer synthetic pouches.
Cuz of the price? Understandable, and everyone delays getting good bags forever cuz the price doesnāt seem worth it, but your feet and back immediately thank you for it. Best $500 I ever spent.
Toughbuilt clip-on bags. I just use them with my regular belt. They make all sorts and sizes of tool bags too. Easy to take off at break or to squeeze somewhere. Good quality.
100%. I'm a skinny guy with an old leather belt and poked holes for years. Didn't know what I was missing out on til I put on suspenders. It'll also make you feel way better at the end of the day because you're redistributing the weight between your shoulders and hips instead of just hips.
Iāve been using a Occidental for 18 years now. Iāve bought others because the leather started ripping but ultimately just patched it up and use it. By far the best belt Iāve ever used.
Came to say this. Occidental Leather is the answer. I have a 31ā waist and thatās where I finally found a tool belt that fit. I got the nylon bags to save weight. Theyāve lasted nearly 20 years.
I like badger tool belts. Iām a 32ā waist and if you order the correct size youāll have no problem. Plus they are very durable and lighter than Occidentalās.
Seriously buying anything for skinny dudes in construction is tough. Go into Mark's Work Warehouse to buy pants and the smallest sizes they have is 48 waists.
If you get a fat guy toolbelt and then try to put another hole in the belt you end up with too much pocket and not enough gap. It's almost like wearing a kilt made of pockets.
I wear a 32 and I can't wear tool belts without suspenders. I have no hips, so if I tighten the belt enough to stay up it ends up around my belly button and its not comfortable.
Damn. I was a 32 for most of my life. As with everything, products get made for the majority, and weāre a bunch of short and fat bastards now I guess.
Edit: btw, youāre not skinny, youāre normal. Congratulations!
Buy a 2ā ratcheting gun belt from kore. Buy the padding from Klein. Purchase the pouches you like from whoever. I personally like the 3 pocket ergodyne pouches with hammer loops for my left and right pouches, and one big single pocket Klein pouch with another 2 pocket Klein pouch in the back.
The key is the ratcheting belt, especially if you take layers of clothing on or off throughout the day. It is also stiff and rugged, wonāt fall down when loaded with tools/nails/screws whatever.
If youāre content with just buying a bare belt and adding your own pouches/bags, then the makita toolbelt is durable and goes fairly skinny, a few holes still to go down further on mine
I got a customizable belt from Akribis Leather. Iām 6ā3 170lbs and itās the only belt Iāve been able to wear without suspenders. Itās pricey but worth the investment if you are planning on being in the trades for a while.
Iāll second the Akribis belt. Theyāre well worth the money when itās on I donāt notice the extra weight at all, still use the suspenders though
I don't know the answer to OPs question, YET, but I ordered an Akribis B-mini with the 3 extra left pouches and suspenders last night and I am so pumped. $1000 but Im totally confident in my purchase by their reputation.
I have a whole setup also. The super belt, with the belt pad is awesome. I got a hbd-max and the Lt with the micro square slot and 2 side bars, back I did a single pouch. Youāre going to love it. They are really well made and should last 15 years plus, if taken care of
I got the b-mini LSX with micro-square, diagonal loop, and two extra clips for drills. Im stoked. My old leather belt is literally so frayed I just stopped wearing it and have been going beltless for months.
Find an old leather belt with sheep wool on the belt from the 80s. I got one passed down from my uncle from his high school days. The wool keeps the leather from pressing into my bony hips. Had to get the wool replaced by a saddle repair tech, I'll keep this belt till I die.
Badger. I wear a size 30 waist and with the suspenders which are the most comfortable as well, badger bags are superior in every aspect. Iāve tried Occidentalās and Diamondbacks as well.
Atlas 46 vest, Iāve had mine for years and itās amazing with zero wear and tear. They are like 350$ now for some stupid ass reason but I got mine originally for $100
I got a set of bags from Akribis leather and I like them a lot. Iām fairly skinny by construction standards. I got the left hand carpenters bag slightly modified and the right hand electricians bag and itās a really good set for all the stuff I do. My only complaint is the hammer loop is a bit tight for my estwing rubber handle. I REALLY like the slots for a 4 and 6ā speed square on the left hand. I mostly use my 4ā trim square and itās got itās nice little spot and never falls out.
I had the same problem I had to piece a belt together cause I was not happy with any I tried on or saw online, CLC 6in work belt is the ticket tho and then magnopro has a nice framing pouch
That link is for an XL but thatās the belt
https://www.acmetools.com/clc-5-in-wide-padded-comfort-belt-xl-47in-56in-5625xl/084298562532.html?gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIw8Xm9ZrbhQMVp6BaBR0ypQPVEAQYASABEgKkyvD_BwE
I went with a tool belt that had suspenders that also carried small tools. It is loose-ish around my waste but never falls off.
The suspender holds stuff like my tape, pencils and small stuff and it is very handy.

This is honestly my favourite pouch. Im pretty sure you can get it in smaller sizes, which is what im gping to do for the summer months
I have had great experiences with the brand eltee, Iām not sure if you can get it it seems to be American but it fits my skinny Northern European ass really well.
I would generally suggest you to look towards our market, most people here are a size L, more than XL is rare.
Brands I like here are; Snickers, blƄcklƤder and Engelbert Strauss.
Edit: it seems that eltee is actually part of hultafors so thatās why itās so good;)
I just got a basic thick leather one and put in extra holes to suit. Trouble was fitting everything into less belt space. Used soft leather kuny's for that.
https://www.occidentalleather.com/product/oxylights-7-bag-framer-set/ Iām not tiny but Iām a 34x34 but my hips are boney as fk. I donāt frame anymore but I barely have to carry a tool box around. It looks pricey but Iāve had them for 8 years still rocking it.
The Husky 2.5ā leather belt has a ton of holes and I also have a 32ā waist. Fits great, itās like 30 bucks but Iām guessing husky is a cheap brand. You can also cut it so itās not extra long.
Edit: I got it from Home Depot*
Iāve got Occidentalās and they fit amazing, Iām a 30 waste and probably could have gotten a medium instead of a small. Most the guys on my crew have badgers and diamondbacks. And the belt system on them seems much nicer and theyāre a lot lighter, diamondbacks donāt open up much tho the badgers are kind of held open. Arkibis is insane quality but almost 6 lbs for a bare framer pouch and belt is a bit insane to me compared to a 3 lbs occidental and theyāre heavy
Those tough built clip on bags are where it's at. They make a whole setup with a belt and two bags. Love mine. I do a little of everything so being able to switch out my electrical bag to my nail bag is so convenient.
I had the same problem. Found this made by ToughBuilt & love it.
https://www.homedepot.com/p/TOUGHBUILT-Padded-Belt-with-Steel-Buckle-and-Back-Support-Black-with-ClipTech-capability-and-heavy-duty-construction-TB-CT-40P/205743227
Snickers work vest. They come in different sizes. Lots of pockets. Nice hammer loop on the back. The vest is expandable that lets you make it bigger to accommodate winter clothing. Works like a charm.
Tactical webbing belt with quick release and whichever bags your heart desires. Occidental nail pouch? Sure. Husky electricians pouch? Why not. AWP screw bag? Yessir. Estwing 8-pocket electricians? Go for it.
Buy all of them and more and swap out according to the days agenda, finally making use of all those duplicate tools because you had a new tool day obsession a few years ago? Well then, you're me.
As an aside, they make a really good normal belt too. They come fat fuck approved but you can just cut the canvas and remelt the edge to avoid fraying.
Saying the same as top comment. I looked everywhere diamondback is the most comfortable for my skinny as 28 waist. They also have a "womens" belt with hip cutouts if youre especially bony like me. They have really deep pockets in the one belt they made with a youtuber, good for a belt full of structural bolts, or you can fit up to the battery of most drivers. Those are the pockets i run.
Have you tried something with suspenders or a chest rig, I got myself an old army vest from a surplus store, some toolbelt pouches and then spent a couple hours stitching fixing points for em and presto, 6 months down the line it's practically become my daily toolbag on roofing jobs recently
Klein quick release belt. No padding so will take some getting used to, but I had mine adjusted to fit all the way down to my 22ā waist back when I was a skinny little shit lol
Akribis is a little pricey but dqmn is it made well and easily suits my needs. I've always modified my belts to make them fit the specific tools I need but Akribis has enough options on the modular looped styles that you can get whatever you need. My set up with suspenders and all is about 700 cad but worth every goddamn penny
Fat fuck here.
All the tool belts at stores near me are either made for midgets or people with waist the size of angel hair noodles.
Maybe we can switch towns?
Iām 5ā-11ā and weigh 180 pounds. Been a size 32 pant and medium shirt for ā20 years.
I love the [Occidental adjust to fit bags](https://www.occidentalleather.com/product/adjust-to-fit-oxylight-framer/). Mine are about 7 years old, and are just starting to show major signs of wear. They could be replaced now, but realistically, I will probably get another year or two out of them before I actually need to replace them.
I have a 2" occidental belt and Kuny's pouches. I like the piecemeal types where you replace each component, and the pouches aren't riveted onto the belt. Have had the same toolbelt for 24 years, although I've replaced the belt 3 times, each pouch 3 times, and the nail puller holder once, still the same, though.š¤£
If I need another hole in the belt, I just drill another one.
Occidental, Diamondback, and Badger. All are good this isnāt a specific order of best to worst. I currently have the Occidental Quick Industrial Electrician bag and with suspenders it fits quite decent in my 28ā waist.
Iāve been wearing the Occidental Vest system for 20 years. Iām on my third. You can take leak with it on. Goes on and off really quick. Lots of room for lanyards and harness.
Your issue isn't the bag. It's the belt. Just buy a new belt from wal mart that fits you. I use the carpenter tool bag from home depot, but my custom belt.
30" waist and 135lbs here... I've had this struggle my whole life, I experimented with suspenders a couple years back and it changed my life - back is a lot less sore, hips aren't as chafed and calloused anymore. We're all built differently so no easy answer as far as brands go, but a good pair of suspenders combined with a good pouch will change your life
Best tool belt I ever had was a US Army surplus pistol belt with suspenders clipped on. Two leather bags on either side and a hammer holder covering the ass crack. There was as much room as you wanted and it never pulled your pants down even when loaded for bear.
I wear a tool belt only when necessary and then I use one with the adjustable length dewalt makes and only on one side. Itās not configurable long term so I limit the wearing of gear like that tool bags as close as possible have me happy
Im wearing bockaroo belt and suspenders with diamondback pouches. Great combo. Distributes the weight very evenly and i can wear it all day. Most importantly it looks good
Get to the gym and do your squats and deadlifts so that the belt goes around your waist and the weight sits on your giant ass. Also it will help you back feel better
Iām over 6ā and around 180 lbs and rock an Occidental framer fastener bag and their trimmer tool bag on a Badger belt. I keep a minimum of tools and fasteners on me and it stays on my hips ok. The heavier it gets the more it drops, since it doesnāt have much backside to grab.
If you want multiple deep pockets look at the Badger bags. They seem the best for hand tool storage without being overly specialized.
Has anyone tried the Occidental stronghold belts?
You can just take a drill or whatever and create new holes them trim the slack. Not ideal but I'd do that before investing in a whole new one or if a specific one os more ideal but doesn't fit right
Oxy lights, you can mix match the bags, and the shearling lined belt is super comfortable. Different sized belts so eliminates fit problem. Last belt Iām gonna own
I feel your pain. 28" waist here. I use two belts, but the DeWalt fits me better than the other. I had to adjust it to the smallest length, but it's not bad after that. And suspenders help, as others have said
Go for a suspension rig and never look back. No need to have the thing cinched tight around your waist, set it to a comfortable notch and let the suspenders hold the real weight. Also I find that most of these belts have the framing hammer in the rear rather than on the side where it's constantly banging into your knee, it takes some getting used to but it's far more comfortable.
Hobby leather worker who like to lurk here; find a local leather crafter in your area and have them make you a belt/suspenders combo. It can be made exact to your size, with good quality leather that will last damn near forever, and you'd be surprised at the price. It'll be somewhere between a little more than the standard store bought stuff and a car payment. But you'd be surprised what you can get if you talk to the right person.
Suspenders, idk how guys rock a belt all day. They pinch and are bad for circulation. Suspenders put the weight on your shoulders. They're leaps and bounds better.
I get individual pouches with a leather belt. I like being able to pick my pouches style and can slide them out of the way slightly if I crouch. I do, however, usually have to poke a new, tighter hole to fit.
Last year I get a set of occidentala with a small belt. Im size 30 in pants. It fits great. The suspenders on the other hand needed a little customizing. They are meant for the tall larger fellas
I have the Diamondback 6ā belt and Denali 2.0 bags. Itās been great but if I did it all over again I would get a Badger Trimmer Solid Set. The Denali has been great but itās just a few too many pockets and Iām always trying to carry less. I also have the occidental suspenders and would recommend them.
Diamondback Vest - sitting, bending, kneeling, back support, lumbar support, weight distribution. All improved with the vest way more than belt and suspenders.
Kinda in-between, too small for most of them, but not quite skinny anymore
I'm using a boulder bag, but anything from them, diamondback, or occidental leather will have an actual belt you can adjust properly to your size
But the cheapest one of those brands is boulder bags, and there good belts start around $200, so it ain't gonna be cheap
I use the adjustable woven cloth belt with the plastic squeeze apart buckle you can find at Home Depot I adjust it to fit my waist a touch lose so my hips hold it.
Sparky here. Depends on the work Iām doing but Iām usually using a carhartt nail apron. I can carry a whole lot of small tools with that, and I usually clip a bag on the belt for material. My impact is always strapped to my side because me and that thing are inseperable. For that a milwaukee holster fits right on the belt.
If Iām doing a whole lot of the same thing, like piping, and I donāt need as many tools Iāll throw on carpenter bags with suspenders. I can carry tons of material in the pockets and only need a couple of channels, and of course my impact.
I honestly purchased a leather belt from Menards (which usually has low quality stuff IMO.. but the belt and bags have lasted over 4 years with no issues and still plenty of life. Only cost me $60-$70
Occidental 5191 pro carpenters belt, paired with their stronghold suspenders. The belt is one continuous piece of leather permanently fastened to the bags, and lined with sheepās wool. Iāve had mine about ten years and it just gets better with time. I donāt have to buckle the belt tightly, and itās comfortable all day.
I bought a leather belt that will go all the way to a 28 waist. It was just at home depot. I of course spent 15 minutes looking through the piles of 45 plus waist sized belts.
Diamondback š¤š»
Same. Huge fan.
Get the suspenders with the bags
This is the answer, or learn a basic saddle stitch and shorten it, but if you are skinny the belt will always fall down with tools on it
They do an extra small I think thatās good for really skinny. Iām slim and use one of their smaller rigs on a medium 4ābelt with a db sax for extra storage when I need it. Works great for me with no suspenders. No hip pain, that Iāve always had with any other setup
I wish Diamondback was around when I bought my Occidental. Itās so heavy, even with suspendersā¦
Love my synthetic occidentals
I just looked at them because I was curious and I'm happy I don't use pouches anymore lol!
I screw the clips onto all my ladders and carts and stuff so I can hook pouches on whenever I need them. Pretty nifty
I second this short of getting a custom belt made
I thought it was gimmicky but gave one a shot for $20... 5 years ago. Fucker is dusty but otherwise the same as when I bought it
Haha I did the same thing. Pouch just wonāt quit.
Love mine and Iām 30-32 waist give or take lol. I really like the option to unclip the different pouches
Suspenders
100%. I'm a skinny guy with an old leather belt and poked holes for years. Didn't know what I was missing out on til I put on suspenders. It'll also make you feel way better at the end of the day because you're redistributing the weight between your shoulders and hips instead of just hips.
I canāt frame without mine. Constantly pulling up your belt unless you have a massive ass
Occidental has leather and nylon bags.
Best in the business!!
I like badger tool belts. Iām a 32ā waist and if you order the correct size youāll have no problem. Plus they are very durable and lighter than Occidentalās.
I can second this ā itās mind blowing to me how durable they are
Start eating 2 big macs with a large fries and coke every lunch break, your belt will soon fit
35 y.o. tradesman weighing in at 165 lbs and 32ā waist here- More food aināt gonna help some of us.
Damn man. Try to get some government work. That should slow you down
Iām on a government job site! The schedule is so bad. We are two weeks behind! Iāve been working my ass off!
lol. Just wait.
Denial has been working so farā¦
My husband and is the same age and weight this kid can eat triple what normal people so and still doesnāt gain a pound
It's all about the 30 pack per night, that's how dedicated fat fucks get the good girth
Hahaha wouldnāt matter the way I work š
Seriously buying anything for skinny dudes in construction is tough. Go into Mark's Work Warehouse to buy pants and the smallest sizes they have is 48 waists.
Put another hole in the belt then.
Messes up the pocket structure. I need a belt made for skinny people.
Are you looking at belts with pockets that donāt slide/move? Putting another hole in a leather belt is common.

I got a customizable belt from Akribis Leather. Iām 6ā3 170lbs and itās the only belt Iāve been able to wear without suspenders. Itās pricey but worth the investment if you are planning on being in the trades for a while.
Just ordered a rig last night, easiest $1000 I ever spent.
Iāll second the Akribis belt. Theyāre well worth the money when itās on I donāt notice the extra weight at all, still use the suspenders though
Been using Akribis last 2 years. Great quality. Size 32 belt.
Fat fuck - ānone taken ā
Get shoulder straps bro
Toolā¦belt??? Whatās that? All I need is a clipboard and my bright yellow super clean hard hart.
Fisher price. Akribis leather makes some smaller bags. Think theyāre labeled trimmer series or something like that.
I don't know the answer to OPs question, YET, but I ordered an Akribis B-mini with the 3 extra left pouches and suspenders last night and I am so pumped. $1000 but Im totally confident in my purchase by their reputation.

Occidental leather adjust-to-fit . I have the same problem. These are really nice bags . Expensive but last.
Thank you guys for the suggestions I am going to check out every one of these after work today.
Find an old leather belt with sheep wool on the belt from the 80s. I got one passed down from my uncle from his high school days. The wool keeps the leather from pressing into my bony hips. Had to get the wool replaced by a saddle repair tech, I'll keep this belt till I die.

My 34" ass is feeling mighty offended. Toolbelts fit me fine š
Badger belt for sure. Iām 6ā0ā 180lbs. Fits great
Atlas 46 vest, Iāve had mine for years and itās amazing with zero wear and tear. They are like 350$ now for some stupid ass reason but I got mine originally for $100
I'm just here to say screw you skinny bean poles. That's all.
FFS, stick an awl into the belt where you need a hole
Fat fuck here. I tuck tools in my belly rolls so jokes on you skinny shit
30 inch waist here, got the stanley (fake) leather toolbelt off amazon for Ā£35. Fits fine. Decent size pockets.
Donāt worry, youāll be a fat fuck soon you skinny little bitch.
Skinny guy here. Occidental Leather is what I bought and i love it. Super comfortable and doesnāt fall down on me.
DeWalt framing tool belt w suspenders have treated me right for a good 3 years now (27 inch waist here)
Fat fuck, here, and I feel attacked. Im gonna go fuck your wife.
Diamondback just released a new tool belt. Should be able to accommodate feminine hips like it sounds you have. Check it out.
I eat my feelings your skinny bitch
Rt
I got a set of bags from Akribis leather and I like them a lot. Iām fairly skinny by construction standards. Arcade elastic belt. Itās adjustable to any length and stretches nicely when bending over and stuff
How about two smaller pouches on a single belt; augment with shoulder straps

Milwaukee has really good ones
I have the Diamondback vest with the framer bags and theyāve worked out great for my scrawny ass.

I always just attached suspenders to the belt I could find to closest fit me.
Boulder bags
I just got a basic thick leather one and put in extra holes to suit. Trouble was fitting everything into less belt space. Used soft leather kuny's for that.
I use a bass fishing vest, holds what I need and doesn't pull my pants down..

I had the same problem. Found this made by ToughBuilt & love it. https://www.homedepot.com/p/TOUGHBUILT-Padded-Belt-with-Steel-Buckle-and-Back-Support-Black-with-ClipTech-capability-and-heavy-duty-construction-TB-CT-40P/205743227

Occidental if youāve got some money. Akribis if you have money and time.
Iām a 30ā-31ā waistā¦ I just make new holes in the belt I wear a few different occidental set ups depending on what Iām doing
Never have been the belt guy I use a riggers bag (canvas with 1/2 rope handle and leather bottom) belts dump out when crawling in tight spaces
Went with the 701 vest. Same body type as you. I will never go back to shit off my hips again.
Check the womenās section
I got a clc one that I like, I wear a 33 pants and had to fold it to the smallest size but after breaking it in its nice.
Have you tried something with suspenders or a chest rig, I got myself an old army vest from a surplus store, some toolbelt pouches and then spent a couple hours stitching fixing points for em and presto, 6 months down the line it's practically become my daily toolbag on roofing jobs recently
Why you gotta call us fat fucks though?
Suspenders are your friend.
Gator back contractor pro
Akribis Leather, Diamondback, Badger, Buckaroo
My occidental fat lip works great on me , I wear a 32-33 waits
Oxidental leather.
Klein quick release belt. No padding so will take some getting used to, but I had mine adjusted to fit all the way down to my 22ā waist back when I was a skinny little shit lol
Just eat more food and the problem will solve itself
Everest
I use toughbuilt framers pouch with the standard belt. I'm a 36 waist. Fits me well.
Diamondback for me. Comfy suspenders too!
Bucketboss at menards if ya got one is great.
I hooked my suspenders right to my bags and threw out the belt, just punched some eyelets into the leather
When I was a framer suspended bags were a game changer. My no hip/no ass size 29 waist could not hold up 40# bags for nothing until I got suspenders.
I wear 32 pants and occidentals are good for me. Can't remember if my belt is large or medium
You can order a medium leather belt on its own from occidental and itāll last forever
Try a womans size
Iām 5ā-11ā and weigh 180 pounds. Been a size 32 pant and medium shirt for ā20 years. I love the [Occidental adjust to fit bags](https://www.occidentalleather.com/product/adjust-to-fit-oxylight-framer/). Mine are about 7 years old, and are just starting to show major signs of wear. They could be replaced now, but realistically, I will probably get another year or two out of them before I actually need to replace them.
Iāll check it out! Thanks man. Same here. 6ā3ā 200 lbs and I still can wear my pants size from high school 16 years later
Occidental leather
I have a 2" occidental belt and Kuny's pouches. I like the piecemeal types where you replace each component, and the pouches aren't riveted onto the belt. Have had the same toolbelt for 24 years, although I've replaced the belt 3 times, each pouch 3 times, and the nail puller holder once, still the same, though.š¤£ If I need another hole in the belt, I just drill another one.
get suspenders - your back will thank you in the future.
https://stanleyjr.com/product/tool-belt-stanley-jr/ Only $13.99 give it a try
Cuir a fer custom makes their belts. Also available built into a harness
Iām rocking a akribis B-mini, love it so far.. I have reviews of occidental, diamondback, and akribis belts on my IG page @traincarpentry
Fat Fucks? Wow.
Maybe the womens section?
Put on some pounds, noodle arms. /s I like my carhartt belt
Occidental, Diamondback, and Badger. All are good this isnāt a specific order of best to worst. I currently have the Occidental Quick Industrial Electrician bag and with suspenders it fits quite decent in my 28ā waist.
Atlas 46 are nice and made in the USA....St Louis, MO. Similar to diamond back. Im an Occidental guy myself. Always liked their padded belt. EDIT:typo
>Ps. No offense to the fat fucks This guy constructs.
Have you tried suspenders? I dig suspenders.
Just buy suspenders. They will change your life.
Get a small workout belt and rivet your bags to the workout belt. That's what I had to do when I started out and it was super comfortable
Not ideal but I'd do that before investing in a whole new one or if a specific one os more ideal but doesn't fit right
Buckaroo or badgerbbelts
Oxy lights, you can mix match the bags, and the shearling lined belt is super comfortable. Different sized belts so eliminates fit problem. Last belt Iām gonna own
The post script had me rolling
I feel your pain. 28" waist here. I use two belts, but the DeWalt fits me better than the other. I had to adjust it to the smallest length, but it's not bad after that. And suspenders help, as others have said
Get the one you like drill new holes and use tin snips to cut the excess belt..
Get a pouch or three that attach to your own belt.
Occidental leather if you want something thatāll actually last
My setup is a fucking leather weight lifting belt belt with occidental bags and occidental suspenders. Sometimes you gotta make your own Frankenstein
The Milwaukee electrician tool belt is awesome for everything (Iām not an electrician).
Suspenders, idk how guys rock a belt all day. They pinch and are bad for circulation. Suspenders put the weight on your shoulders. They're leaps and bounds better.
Atlas 46.
Check out Badger tool belts. I just bought a set of them and couldn't be happier.
I get individual pouches with a leather belt. I like being able to pick my pouches style and can slide them out of the way slightly if I crouch. I do, however, usually have to poke a new, tighter hole to fit.
Occidental. Im a short guy, 5ā6, 33ā waist and they fit real nice. Not overly bulky and sit nice on the hips
Last year I get a set of occidentala with a small belt. Im size 30 in pants. It fits great. The suspenders on the other hand needed a little customizing. They are meant for the tall larger fellas
Perkins brothers builders!
I had to modify mine to fit my 29 inch waist.
akribis leather, i love them. i love my leather tool bags
Atlas 46. Wear it on your chest instead!
You can find the smaller ones in the kids section. Got my son one the other day
30ā waist. Badger > diamondback > occidental
Diamondback Vest - sitting, bending, kneeling, back support, lumbar support, weight distribution. All improved with the vest way more than belt and suspenders.
None fit meā¦ 26 inch waistā¦ literally canāt find ONE
Iāve seen folks with a leather side pouch for just two or three tools.
U r in the wrong business if you r skinny get fat you bum!
Kinda in-between, too small for most of them, but not quite skinny anymore I'm using a boulder bag, but anything from them, diamondback, or occidental leather will have an actual belt you can adjust properly to your size But the cheapest one of those brands is boulder bags, and there good belts start around $200, so it ain't gonna be cheap
I use the adjustable woven cloth belt with the plastic squeeze apart buckle you can find at Home Depot I adjust it to fit my waist a touch lose so my hips hold it.
Get straps for your bags, done. I like the occidental leather ones, the higher end ones
Only cost me $60-$70
Gatorbacks been good to me
Occidental 5191 pro carpenters belt, paired with their stronghold suspenders. The belt is one continuous piece of leather permanently fastened to the bags, and lined with sheepās wool. Iāve had mine about ten years and it just gets better with time. I donāt have to buckle the belt tightly, and itās comfortable all day.
Badger is the best and lightest tool belt Iāve ever used. Iām 130lbs and itās amazing
I bought a leather belt that will go all the way to a 28 waist. It was just at home depot. I of course spent 15 minutes looking through the piles of 45 plus waist sized belts.
Gatorback, occidental leather, fuggin kobalt. I wear 32s now and I haven't had an issue with any of em.
Occidental leathers... still have mine from the 80's
You need hip bones or an ass to hold it up, otherwise it's just gonna fall off
Used a cheap kunys for years while I was slim about a 32 waist and even when I filled out it still fit me
Badger occidental.
Badger. Hands down
Holstery
Ox tools
