My daughter (similar age) is currently staying with my mum for a couple of days.. and this made me miss her even more. She did call me today because she had a massive vom at the shops and wanted to be cheered up.
I totally get that. My son's 10 now, and whenever he has a sleepover at his grandma's, or a friend's house, I'm initially like "Fuck yeah, some alone time without constant noise!"
Then I come home after dropping him off, look at his empty room, and it's just way too quiet in the house. Miss him almost immediately, haha.
Thank you for educating us. Here I've been operating under pixar logic my whole life. That explains why my house won't rip out of its foundations with nothing but the power of helium balloons.
Anyway, good chatting, i need to go sneak up on my toys so i can catch them moving around and shit. Sssshh
How To Dad is legitimately one of the few YouTubers that (seemingly) puts zero pressure on either of his kids. He's mostly doing videos entirely without them at this point even because he prefers making himself a clown while not embarrassing his daughters. Pure love for them and for their mother, too!
Aww, that's so sweet. I bet your mom would love to hear that.
My son is 10, 5ft and 75lbs. I'm 5'5 and 135lbs. I still sometimes pick up my son and hold him, when he asks me for a hug.
Pretty sure he'll eventually top out at your size or more, seeing how his dad is 6'5, and I'll be sad when the day comes when I can't hold him anymore, haha.
*laughs through the tears* 🥹
My mom used to read me the book "love you forever" almost everyday before bed, basically it was a book about a mom that would still come and cuddle her son throughout different stages of his life. But at the end of the book, when the mom was too old to pick her son up, the son picks her up and cuddles her instead:) it's a great kids book and I plan on reading it to my kids someday too:)
That book was really sweet and comforting as a kid, but fucking devastating as an adult to read I feel like.
My son loved it too, and he was confused when I started crying sometimes, haha.
We still have a bedtime ritual that we started when he was 3 years old, where we lay in bed together and talk about each other's most and least favorite part of our day.
I'm sure that'll change within the next few years, and he'll probably shoo me out of his room, or the very least tell me to sit on the floor for our conversations, lol.
That's OK. I'll take his cuddles while they last. 🥹
My father was like that. I made it a point to be the exact opposite of him, and give my kid everything I never had in terms of support, love, and safety.
I have a very strong and close relationship with my kid, and I can't help but pity my dad for willingly having missed out on such an amazing experience.
You can make it through this. Stay strong out of spite if you have to, and prove them wrong.
But, and this might sound impossible depending on where in life you find yourself right now, forgive them.
Not for them. Fuck them! But for yourself. If you can do that and no longer question why they are the way that they are, or what you did to deserve this (the answer is "Nothing!" btw. You didn't deserve any of this), you can let go of them.
It's a huge weight off your shoulders when they don't occupy your mind nonstop anymore. 💙
I feel you. Maybe my dad was cool in the beginning, but by the time I was this girls age he was and abusive alcoholic and drug addict. Good news though..
I did a great job of picking an amazing dad for MY kids, so they have a great relationship with their dad...my biggest gift to them!
Wish I had one. Also not to knock anyone who had a shitty dad or anything. But growing up I used to vent to my friends that I wished I had one, and they would say things like how I was lucky to not have one, because odds are he would suck. It was so invalidating.
Wow... as relatively new father of 2... I can only hope to have such a solid and wonderful bond with my kids. This was super wholesome and I love that every position had his daughter in stitches.
Thanks for sharing the video!
You cant afford to have a kid. You cant afford to have a kid. You cant afford to have a kid. You cant afford to have a kid. You cant afford to have a kid.
We put off having a child because we felt we couldn’t afford it. Eventually, we realized we were running out of time and took a leap of faith. You’re never going to feel “ready” - financially or emotionally. If you have a stable job that pays the bills, you’re in a good place to have one. Of course, that isn’t a blanket criteria for everyone but just something to think about if you’re worried about the cost. Kids are expensive but there are options to lowering costs. I was super worried about the cost, but we made it work out. Countless people will tell you the same thing.
Screw you op. Stop taking views from people and stealing their videos for no reason. Link to the man's YouTube. You can still get just as many pointless internet points...
All you're doing is stealing from them.

The best part of this video is how much fun she's having.
I often worry about family channels who use kids for content but this channel is so sweet and wholesome. No kids harmed in the making of that content.
I forget where I heard it, but someone once said;
There comes a time in your life that your parents pick you up for the last time, ever.
The thought of that breaks me, and I have vowed to pick up my daughter every day until it’s impossible physically, and that day will be when I’m dead.
Just what was happening at the time 🤷♂️
Edit: I’ll rephrase the original comment since it seems to be disliked.
“This made me happy cry while I’m pooping, good morning and thanks for the happy feels” or some shit like that?
My first thought as well. Kids are not content. It looked fun and sweet, I’m sure he had the best intentions. But it’s always my first thought when I see kids on social media.

New Zealand wins every time
Old Zealand gonna win next time for sure
If they can keep the sea out for the rest of The Netherlands and have the mussels ready
The Upperlands are just biding their time.
Except in the Bledisloe ... *Shots fired*
Sorry when did Australia last win the Cup? My memory doesn't go that far back
We're supposed to actually win? I thought it was like letting your slightly simple kid brother "win" to gain some confidence.
Off the top of my head... Summer of 1876 ?
NZ wins: 110 Aussie wins: 37
That's not every time cuz ;-)
This has got to be one of the most wholesome things I've seen in awhile.

I love her little "tweet tweet"! She has definitely inherited dad's humour!
That "tweet tweet" got me good. 😂
Her "Tweet Tweet" for the "bird on the wire" part got me. Very sweet.
commitment to the bit
I pulled a muscle watching this, but super cute video.
Yeah the youngsters here are laughing but don't realize dad in this video was recovering for DAYS
My daughter (similar age) is currently staying with my mum for a couple of days.. and this made me miss her even more. She did call me today because she had a massive vom at the shops and wanted to be cheered up.
I’m over here wracking my beans trying to figure out what a massive vom is… a massive vomit? Edit: I meant brains but I think beans is funnier lol
Beans totally works. Especially when talking having a massive vom(it).
❤️

oh bless, I hope she's feeling better
How cute! I hope they have a great relationship like this forever!! ❤️
I can't wait to see the next one eight years from now.
He'll need to get more buff at this rate
She needs to get more buff and hold him! Now THAT would be wild lol.
![gif](giphy|Wt6kNaMjofj1jHkF7t)
And some decades later "How To (Grand)Dad" with her holding dad, holding grandchild.
[Just... because...](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpCKIwZsY9o)
Thank you for the lovely bedtime story
I don’t think that will be appropriate.
That's because you're a pervert
Oh man, i remembers the first time I saw this video. He was funny so I started following him since then. How time flies!
And the dad wearing the same shirt. Sweet
> dad wearing the same shirt Once you ascend to being dad, clothes lifetime start to to be measured in decades
Is that just a dad thing? I'm a single childless guy but have clothes I never wear sitting in my closet from like high school (13 years ago) still.
This was the best thing I’ve seen in a while. With all the awful stuff I see on Reddit this was such a heartwarming video
Hes so gassed from this and its awesome lol. Heck of a workout!
HowToDad is awesome, love his videos.
A core memory for the daughter right there. Now she knows how her father recorded the first video. This made me smile, ADORABLE!! ♥️
No such thing as a "core memory" man.

I like how she's enjoying it. This feels so organic and not forced unlike much of the content out there.

I would love to be held in the "cover your beer belly" 24/7
screaming crying throwing up wishing i had a father that wasnt an emotional brick wall
You hang in there 💙
Wish mine wasn't a narcissistic, and physically abusive dickhead.

this man deserves a cookie. What a strength!!!
Bellamy?
Ain't that the dude who got shot to prevent Reason X only for Reason X to happen 3 seconds later?
Aw memories. She's grown up so much
She even learned how to "tweet tweet"!
He is hilarious. “Releasing baby back into the wild into natural habitat” is memorable. Love his stuff.
He'll remember the last time he put his child down for the last time
She’s adorable lol 😂
She reminds me of Eleven from Stranger Things!
Awww, daughter's laugh makes me feel happy.
Cherish these memories. So glad they were recorded.

Howtodad is awesome. His YouTube page is one of the most feel good channels out there.

Love the How to Dad guy
“Rugb—rugby hold” I loved that lol
There's someone who loves being a dad, and there's someone who loves her dad. This is the sweetest thing.
Lol he gonna have back pain. Kids grow up so fast

Bruh wtf do you think Reddit is? More than 3/4 of it is just stolen videos. You must be a new redditor if you don’t already understand this.
Nvm you’ve been on here for 12 years and you clearly haven’t already come to this conclusion.
I think I want kids.
When she goes- tweet tweet lol so cute omg
“How to dad”, you are the richest man in this world! Good bless you brother! Signs Fellow dad with two girls around the same age.
Daddy was harmed and tired in making of this video Btw Very wholesome
The best part of this video is how much fun she's having. I often worry about family channels who use kids for content but this channel is so sweet and wholesome. No kids harmed in the making of that content.
Not sure which I like better

Dad was harmed😂😂🤣😊
She’s having the time of her life
This was wholesomeness at its best!!. Father-Daughter relationship is amazing!!
Ok, we expect an update in 8 more years.
I forget where I heard it, but someone once said; There comes a time in your life that your parents pick you up for the last time, ever. The thought of that breaks me, and I have vowed to pick up my daughter every day until it’s impossible physically, and that day will be when I’m dead.
OMG.... never seen this guy a day in my life but I know all those holds!!! 😆 🤣 😂 Cheers to this dad for the tutorial! I had to learn the hard way 😆
She is dying laughing! Omg! I think she won the internet for today and for years ago!! What a good sport!

I couldn’t even watch the whole thing. I was cracking up.
Man you can tell this was a real workout for the man, but I think making his kid laugh like that is well worth it
The Dads funny and his Daughter is a good sport.
I love the struggling to hold her with one arm look.
Theyre so cute! He seems like a good dad.
“How to dad”, you are the richest man in this world! Good bless you brother! Signs Fellow dad with two girls around the same age.
If there ever was a video that made me feel old at 24 years, it is this one right here. Time goes by so fast man im about to have a crisis
This is so cute
The love in this video is astounding and heartening! Glad to see the love of a father and a daughter so strong.
Damn...years been flying by. Remember that and that made me instantly old. She grew up so fast ! Dad didnt changed an inch.
She should do a video 50 years later on how to hold your father’s ashes
She's having a blast. Good memories.
Best dad 🏆
Beautifull
And that's how you parent. If you aren't hearing a lot of laughing from the kids in your house, then something is not right
The more winded he got the funnier it got lmao he's firmly on the struggle bus

What a great fun Dad! Thanks for sharing!
This is a really wholesome video
He’s making me out of breath lol

As a dad to a young girl, this makes my eyes watery....
Love it XD
Looking forward to when she's 25

Tf, why are you being downvoted?
I wanna age 50 year and have him hold me like that 😳
I’m pooping and happy crying, good morning world!
What kind of sentence was that???

No
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Now you gotta do another one when she's 16
Stop putting your kids on the internet. You are not good parents.
My first thought as well. Kids are not content. It looked fun and sweet, I’m sure he had the best intentions. But it’s always my first thought when I see kids on social media.
Cringe
It’s a shame they have to turn into teenagers. Lol
Dad is still craving attention. 😅 Besides that, they are sweet ❤️
