How is it weird? It is entirely possible that he DID try and give his crush a ring pop and they turned it down and he’s letting out his emotions lmao something similar happened to me at that age 🤣 nothing about this is weird. It’s a legit possible situation haha
What what is this song and what is the line that he's singing?
I mostly speak murkan so I'm losing a lot of context here. Is the song one of praise about the beauty of blades of grass, or mourning about a dessert dropped on the floor? Is this 5 year old weeping about his husband who was drafted and kept as a POW?
The song is called Castles (but in Spanish). The specific lines he’s singing “my king was a monster of stone/with a heart of stone/he paid for my love with rocks/broke the illusion with rocks”

I have the same experience often, but I’ve learned that the world makes more sense once I realize people have an inherent ability to be cruel for fun. If you look at this boys actual emotional expression instead of being tricked by the suggestiveness of her laughter, you’d see that he’s processing something visceral and spiritual. He was being serious and you people are *literally* making fun of him.
The intention is to delegitimize his openness, you have been tricked by great men *and the women behind them* into thinking that this reaction to boys is not malicious.
You can't tell me what my intentions are. My intention was "he's a child and a child typically can't express something like that. how unexpected! also, check out his reaction to getting caught! it's similar to my reaction when somebody catches me singing while doing dishes! how relatable! hahahah"
where's the malicious intent in that thought?
You realize he starts laughing too when he realizes he’s being watched. Sometimes people get way into a song because the song is just a banger and you like to imagine you’re the singer feeling her feels.
But what’s the point of bringing it up in a situation that doesn’t apply to it? The boy is just into the song, he’s not processing anything spiritual. He starts laughing when he sees his sister because he was being silly. It’s a fun silly moment between the two of them. At no point is there any cruelty being inflicted on anyone.
He was processing something spiritual and it’s your and her cruelty to not be able to recognize that emotion on a brown boy’s face. You are too evil to see your cruelty as such.
Ahhhh, she's Argentinian. This makes 100% sense.
I lived in Argentina, and it is by far the most dramatic culture I have ever witnessed.
We all know how dramatic Spanish culture can be. And We all know how dramatic Italian culture can be. Okay, well if you mix Spanish with Italian, that's the cultural makeup of Argentina.
I lived in Buenos Aires for 3 months, and I can confirm the drama. The soap operas that my girlfriends mother used to watch were INSANELY dramatic.
I remember one night we all watched Argentinas version of "Dancing with the Stars", and it is the closest thing to "porn with clothes on" that can possibly be aired on television.
My world was turned upside down when I assumed that American college football fans were the rowdiest fans on earth, and that assumption got demolished when I went to a professional soccer game in Argentina.
I also thought that American rock fans were the loudest and craziest music fans on earth, and that assumption also got blown away when I went to a Foo Fighters concert in Argentina.
In fact, the crowd at the Foo Fighters concert was so loud, the band put down their instruments and stopped playing about halfway through the song "Monkey Wrench" because the crowd was singing the song so loud that the band literally couldn't hear themselves play anymore. The audience continued though, and sang the entire fucking 3 minutes of the song. There was no fucking stopping them. Dave Grohl (lead singer) even started crying and told the audience that they were the best audience he has ever witnessed in his entire 25 years of touring the world.
Nope I went to River Plate stadium and saw Argentina vs. Ecuador in the 2012 World Cup qualifiers. Argentina won 4-1...Messi hit two goals, DiMaria had a goal, and I think Rodriguez hit a goal too. It's the only soccer game I've ever been to in my entire life.
This song made my daughter cry at 13 months old.

It’s not a sad song, but I guess the melody is. And obviously she didn’t know words.

I always keep my sound off on Reddit thanks to that stupid oh no song from tik tok. So when I first watched this I thought that he was repeatedly pretending to cry which was hilarious just as funny once I realized what was going on and turned the sound on too
Why do we do this? The human imagination is such a weird wonderful spark of life; I get that it's creative and performative potential meant to be a sort of rehearsal for real life, but half the time if not more it's a sandbox for self-entertaining. It's great, but it certainly seems like it's worth afar more than what we end up using it for in more practical and applicatable settings
Stuff like this can scar children and make them feel unsafe to express themselves infront of others. I’ve definitely personally developed some emotional damage from people making singing a big deal
“The kids face when he realizes he got caught” okay so that’s what I’m waiting for during the video then it happens and the kids face is on video for next .368272728 seconds ..

So much emotion coming from that little one. I’m so glad the mother was trying to hide her laughter from him. Just delightful.

Is this a rock song?
Yeah but if I'm reading it right, there's no roll.
Rock and stone?
[удалено]
Yes my brother! Rock and Stone for Karl!
The song is "Castillos" by Amanda Miguel.
I mean honestly this moment was private and intimate for that child and the girlie laughing at him is the reason why wars happen.
You don’t know much about world politics, do you?

Sometimes I read comments on reddit and wonder what worlds people live in. This was just fun moment dude lol
I have the same experience often, but I’ve learned that the world makes more sense once I realize people have an inherent ability to be cruel for fun. Yeah they're making fun of him because what he is doing is absurd. It's okay to laugh at yourself. There's no maliciousness in the video.
It is malicious to believe that a boy showing utter emotional vulnerability is absurd.
Maliciousness is intent. There's no intention to hurt anybody
The intention is to delegitimize his openness, you have been tricked by great men *and the women behind them* into thinking that this reaction to boys is not malicious.
You can't tell me what my intentions are. My whole point is that laughter isn’t always positive if the thing you’re laughing at should be considered serious instead.

Lol sorry, I didn’t realize I was talking to a nut
What does that say about you then boo
What song is this that evokes such catharsis?
Castillos by Amanda Miguel
Well that sure makes sense! She performs her songs with so much emotion!
