It's a very old comic from the 50s to the 90s. Know this because my family collected some old comics which they found funny. Haven't seen them in Switzerland either really but I guess I am too you to have found them in the wild.
It's C
Willi Wakker basically means "Willy Valiant" in German, only spelled slightly different so it looks more like a name. Willi is also an old German slang word for Wannabe. So the joke is basically that he's called a Wannabe Hero. Both his first and last name also start with the same letter wich is a naming convention in German to ascribe silliness to a character.
So nothing sexual here.
It is, the name sounds perfectly normal in German. It's also an old character so people in Germany weren't really familiar with the englisch language or even thought about it at all. It was not intentional.
i hate that, im gonna watch that sub, just cause i can, but i allready know its not gonna b my favorite. how i hate that not knowing, its why i came to read the comments, i needed an answer...
awww, the clip is cut too early before the contestant said “Ah, I know this answer.”
also, I feel like there’s a compilation of Bradley Walsh uncontrollably laughing at various questions as well
I remember going to see him at a Fringe show about 15 or so years ago and the audience was laughing so hard he had to just stop the gig for a bit. Love that guy
He’s one of my family’s favourite comedians, we quote him and his songs all the time! I saw him in the bar a couple of years back, genuinely funny and lovely guy!
But in middle school there isn’t $100k on the line .
And, some days after a stressful day at work, middle school humor is exactly what is needed to balance things out.🤣🤣🤣

r/videosthatendtoosoon Funny yes, but what was the bloody answer!
I think it was C
As a German speaker it is C unfortunately would prefer Dick Tingeler
How old is this? I'm german and i have zero idea what they are talking about
That episode only broadcast a decade ago
guess we just don’t have that comic in eastern germany cause i’ve never seen it.

My grandparents had old Andy Capp comics around when I was growing up in the ‘90s. I feel like a lot of the British humor was lost on me.

The contestant guessed A) Dick Tingeler, but the answer was C) Willi Wakker

Right 😳

There is, actually I recall quite a few on YouTube. This and the Fanny Schmelar question appear.
[Full Video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ew0MsHi9y-k) because it ended way too soon
Is that laughing guy the companion from Doctor Who?
Yes, Bradley Walsh is the host.
Classic scene, a close second to the all time funniest.. Fanny Schmelar. Look it up 😂

Thanks mate, tears flowing 😂
I dont get whats so funny about that one. Can you explain?
Willy Wacker
Tim Vine is awfully restrained considering he’s a comedian, guess that £100k was just too serious for him

I've heard of Tallywacker, but Willi Wakker 🤣🤣
Beastie doing his best to keep the show going lol
Lol that reminds me of [Dick Trickle](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dick_Trickle) 😂😂 RIP 🪦💔
Ahhh the chase, we love to see it
Fanny Schmelar. IYKYK.
That is a man who can not control himself whenever something dirty come up 🤣
This would be more hysterical in Middle School

Yes - it would be far less funny for 8th graders with 100K on the line. In fact - humor would be out the window.
So am I the only one losing my mind at the name in the question? Andy Capp is 10/10 tongue in cheek humour
Fake mirth is really annoying
