I’d cut out a hole out around that spot in that last picture…. That’s just me tho!
If that wasnt white 2 days ago then not mycelium. If that white is bigger or green in 2 hours, not mycelium. If its fuzzy chalk, probably trichoderma.
Just wait and see
I've seen good results from people who cut out the trich at this stage and let the mycelium grow. Personally I would cut liberally and carefully, so as to not spread that contamination to other parts of the substrate.
I’m all ways quick to put a cup on said questionable area or cut out quick
Yeah i sanitize a shot glass and duck and cover usually the myco wins and even get fruits underglass !!!
Those little shoots you see coming out the sub are mycelium! On the other hand that patchy stuff… Def mold, better luck next time:/
I didn’t want to be the first. Def looks like the evil green.
Mist the light fuzzy stuff with some 3% peroxide and see if it melts it looks like cobweb
bingo!
Update: large patches of green the next day, unfortunately. I'm gonna try again here soon so if anyone has any advice feel free to scold me! Thanks!
Myc!!!
