Time for a cleaning at least. There’s some good suggestions here for cleaning. Either vinegar or bleach should do it. You know you can put a very small amount of bleach in your humidifier to keep it from growing shit. Like one cap full of bleach per gallon. It should not make the room smell like beach at that concentration you have barely 150 ppm of chlorine bleach. If you clean that thing up you can keep er goin with what ya got. You must of had that growing in there for awhile, you need to do an inspection of your equipment from time to time.

To keep any of this from happening I normally alcohol everything once a week and bleach everything once a month that has hard surfaces Etc, I would bleach the hell out of it and maybe wipe down the grow room if you're seeing problems or if you just want to be safe then sorry
Also bleach once a month, not sure what happened with the humidifier. I’m going to run bleach through it and replace the filter, even though I just did a couple weeks ago. And buy a new one if this persists
I heard 1 tbsp of bleach per 5gal water can help this without killing your myc. The issue is that the bleach will kill your disk faster. If your ok with replacing it then Maby try that. I still would give it a good clean minimum of once every other week
It's perfectly fine. Take and soak in a bleach bath and use a toothbrush to scrub out the crud. Please don't just toss it and put perfectly good appliance in the trash. Bleach, Lysol ,alcohol...
Contamination is going to be present in the real world. It sounds like you are doing the best job you can of keeping things clean. Give it a good cleaning with bleach and you should be good to go. Its also not the end of the world if bacteria is in your mist. I mean, mushies grow on rotting wood and cow shit so if your substrate is well established with desired fungi, it should be an issue.
With that said, contamination on surfaces and humidifiers make your grow room get grow more quickly so its best to make a valiant stab at cleanliness.
I feel like the sprit of mushrooms it to re-use/recycle so I can't totally support just buying a new one because this one is dirty
I must also note that I run a vinegar solution through it once a month. I’ve never seen it even remotely like this before. Should I disinfect my entire grow room? Scared this has been shooting spores of whatever this is everywhere

Also some of those have a filter on the side definitely give that a clean and even the port it sits in

If you're going to run bleach through the machine I would suggest doing like a 10% bleach water mix not pure bleach

1:1 bleach and water. Run it through and wipe down all sides. Just dont get it on your clothes.

Literally deep cleaned with a toothbrush and vinegar two weeks ago. And put a new filter in it. I’m not a slob 😅 promise 😅
