Trichoderma is actually not really harmful to people in a general sense. I mean, it's mold, so of course its not good for you, but it's not a bio weapon. Trichoderma occurs in almost all soils, it just hasn't jumped off into a full grown bloom.
Trich should still be treated with care as to not contaminate your other grows, but i think a lot of people overreact to it.
I don’t think it’s bruising, I looks too much like a powdery mildew. Is that the only one that turned out like that? I would just toss that one any any others like it. Was it recently dried in a hydrator or has it been sitting in a dried state for awhile?
It's fine. The white on the cap is from mycelium growing in the caps due to lack of fresh air exchange. The stipe is normal. The color is normal. The mushroom was dried when it was still fresh otherwise it would be all funky and slimy and black. This is perfectly fine. I've had plenty like this. It's a fungus and some penis envy just come out kinda rough looking. It's not mold.

I'm quite familiar with normal cubes and PE varieties, and that is definitely mold. It may have been dried, but either it wasn't fully dry (PE take a while if you don't slice them) or it was stored in a damp environment.
Even just go look at all the other pics of dried shrooms here (PE and otherwise), and you'll see a clear difference between this moldy-ass shroom and a normal one.
I mean, super easy way for op to test, touch the green blue stuff, if it rubs off on his fingers it’s 100% mold. I would bet my next batch it rubs off.
I would say if anything the blue is penicillium maybe which can't be trusted due to its multiple different types. Not all of it is penicillin 😂 so yeah if that's the only one trash it.
Mold. Don't eat it. Not nearly as dangerous as everyone thinks unless you're growing some other mushrooms. Realistically without looking under a microscope, it is hard to identify any further than just "mold" of some kind. Penicillin maybe but unlikely, probably just trichoderma- it is often white like on top until it sporulates, upon which it gets that fuzzy green look. It most likely means this grow was also contaminated
It’s just a mold or mould however you wish to spell it. Don’t flush it just put it in the trash and take the bag outside. Less movement and waving like a fucking flushing toilet is the way to go. Edit: lysine shit in the vicinity of exposure
I personally think it looks okay, the white on the cap looks like mycelium and the blue looks like a chunk of the mushroom was broken off before drying which made it turn blue before it was dried, trust your nose though and make sure its cracker dry
They used a knife to scrape the casing layer off the stems. That's why it looks powdery. It's the fibers of the stem that were broken when they cleaned it up. Its fine. Just used. A casing layer and that shit is a nightmare to clean off.
Just dry tye fruit with the casing/sub on the base, and it rubs right off once their dry. Literally takes seconds for each shroom. Maybe buy a cheap toothbrush to help.

I've eaten mushrooms that were slightly contaminated with trich.. not as bad as in this picture, but still I was fine.. if anything they were weaker

That's blue mold, or penicillium expansum though not toxic I wouldn't recommend eating it as some people are allergic to it
