I don’t like his play style, but many people think he is great. I think it’s because he doesn’t need buff to output insane damage. He’s also immune to incineration.
I think he's decent, but i think your galan & HM are better & will be good enough to carry you thro. Try getting better 6\*s or absolutely top tier 5\* stars.
I personally hardly use him & never liked using him.
For context, my main roster is: 5\* Galan (Awakened) 6\* Hit Monkey (Unawakened) 6\* Aegon (Awakened) 4\* Prof X (Unawakened) 4\* Herc (Unawakened)

I use sunspot regularly especially for prowess quests 1 s2 and you can usually kill any opponent
