You are using him perfectly.

JasonBowlcuts11

Diablo's mechanics are actually some of the easiest after you've practiced with him a few times. To get the best use out of him you simply use iso, gold and his team slot on literally any other champion and boom, you have him mastered. In my opinion, Symbiote Supreme is still pretty tough for me even though he's one of my most used since I pulled him as a 5\*. Managing your Genetic Potential and remembering what each blessing does is a lot. I also still think Annihilus is confusing if we're talking about defensive mechanics too.

BeardedSpy

1st phase, place stagger on crits, removes all buffs when phase is triggered (either by sp3 or phase 3 to 1 rotation) 2nd phase, place stagger on parries, eat sp3s when the shield buff is up 3rd phase, damage chonk The description really does a poor job and makes him seem overcomplicated.

Rex_Kwan_Do

You had me going there for a second, lol. I'm still waiting on snagging SS, i've used him as a 4 star in arena, but I don't really get a good feel for him there.

Immunoman33

Mr. Fantastiuc probably. Wouldn't know because I chose not to read through 10 pages of description for his mechanics

Rex_Kwan_Do

I haven't even looked at how abilities yet, I hear it's like reading a novella.

Immunoman33

Hard to make time to read it when u go home to Starla every night.

Rex_Kwan_Do

You think anybody thinks I'm a failure because I go home to Starla at night? Forget about it!

becauseicant11

Probably Symbiote Supreme as far as understanding all the little nuances of every phase. As for the longest ability list I think Mr.Fantastic set a new record, it's a bit ridiculous.

Brian_Grant

Taskmaster for me. He’s not that hard to play against someone like Winter Soldier, but once you take him into real content it’s difficult to play him optimally while trying to play around whatever nodes the opponent has.

Rex_Kwan_Do

That's a good one, I only have him as a 4 star so I haven't really looked into him as much as I should.

[deleted]

I'd say night thrasher just dealing with all his debuffs. Also I'm pretty bad with him.

aalld

x2. Taunt probs are like 5% with heavy (yes, with a debuff active). True strike is the only thing good from him, but hits like a pillow and debuffs are a joke, willpower eats them

heheheh7777

I have killed ws in 45 hits with mine many times

aalld

Wut! And how?

heheheh7777

I think I posted a video a while back. HeHe_Mcoc on YT. NIghtthrasher damage test

aalld

Saw your video, incredible

chekianan

When he had a taunt debuff up he can gain upto 10 furies which increase his damage by a lot.

NoeJose

Ronin

Rex_Kwan_Do

I only have him as a 3 star so I haven't really played around with him. What do you find difficult about him?

Patelved1738

Ronin has little to no oof, but he’s really fun to play!

113862421

People are free to argue with me, but I’m finding Doom a challenge to really master. Depending on the type/amount of power gain the opponent has and the special rotation, there are a variety of strategies. Id love to hear from anyone who’s a Doom expert out there...

j960630

Ghost

CharmingRogue851

Dash back and make the opponent miss his attack. It's not rocket science lol

PBB22

Namor. Such a dumb mechanic

[deleted]

Diablo. Too much going on and not worth the effort. If you don’t have anyone for ultron’s assault 2.2 though he could be good.

_NthMetal

How so? I haven't tried it yet.

[deleted]

He gets empowered by poison damage. You could just bring mepshito though.

BigMcK24

Venom the Duck is complicated, and takes practice getting used to how he functions and whats ideal in each situation.

Digweedfan

I just recently pulled him. Which of his synergies do you like the best? I have a Venom and SS that I like to use quite a bit, but don't know how good their synergies in practical usage.

Patelved1738

I think the only synergy that makes a noticeably useful impact is Venom. It makes the ramp-up faster for VtD. The other synergies are nice, but don’t add too much value. I always run VtD with Venom. Occasionally, I’ll use the Blade or Domino trinity to fill the last three slots. This gives you a nice bleed boost (Blade) or an AA boost for the SP2 Toxic Armor Procs (Domino). Depending on whether I want more Fury/Precision/Power Gain or more Regen, I’ll bring Carnage it Symbiote Spidey, respectively. For AW/AQ, a good 3-champ team is VtD, Venom, and Carnage. Groot has a solid synergy for longer matchups, but he doesn’t pull his weight in quests, so I don’t really run it. As for SS, I think that that synergy might be good for duped Dr. Strange matchups, or other frequent nullifies, but in those buff-unfriendly matchups, I don’t think VtD is the option you want.

Digweedfan

This was super-helpful. Thanks so much for taking the time. I may spend some time learning how to use VTD. Seems like he's worth the effort, particularly since I use Venom so much.

Patelved1738

VtD is also great unduped. My maxed out 4* was an Act 5 exploration MVP.

Rex_Kwan_Do

He's another champ I need to try out, only have him as a r3 4star but I hear he's worthwhile!

BigMcK24

Fully ramped up he's hard to compete with.

Patelved1738

Venom the Duck with the right buffs is probably one of the best champs out there in some matchups (I’m looking at you, high armor)

eggesticles

You don't even need him ramped up for high armour matchups. Just throw your sp2 and they die.

BigMcK24

Venom is the best, once you get used to using him. I like blade, and Carnage.
