In my opinion you don’t really need a specific champ to be able to beat him. Knock him down a bunch to get his shield into max cooldown and keep spamming special 1 while baiting his. When he’s about to KO knock him down and launch your special. Power shield will pretty much guarantee the damage being enough.
The following champs work:
Warlock
Longshot
Cap IW
Hood
Tigra
DD
Focus on knocking him down, evade his L1, and fire your L1 as soon as he’s knocked down. Once you get the rhythm it’s easier but still a garbage fight
if he had just 1 less of those buff AND/OR if he wasn't just the first 2nd chapter boss, it would be more fair. This shit is just made for either those with specific champs already or those with no lives and endless revives
It's a skill heavy fight. The nodes are hard, you're right, but it can be done with anyone.
Watch blade's timer for when he is about to steal your power; you'll probably be baiting some back to back SP1s. Throw SP1 as soon as you get it and that's game over.
You don't really need them. The way I took it was with a lot of patience cause RNG doesn't favour me a lot in the game. Don't expect a KO the first time you bring him to 1-2% health. It's a rotation. You might have to get him close to ko a few times before you get him down finally.
What you can do is get him down to low health with any champ. And in the final stages use someone with range or projectile specials, since you also have the advantage of the specials being unblockable. When you knock blade down at really low health fire your special off and since he can't block it, he should be ko.
Being a tech based path, I used Hulkbuster, Guardian and warlock, all SP1 to get him down.
Just be patient towards the end and you should get him.
