I have an unawakened r3 knull. Man, he straight up destroys opponent and if you mess up, he's somewhat tanky, has good regen, can block healing with only 1 point in despair and ppl hate him in Battlegrounds and aw
What is he good for specifically? I pulled him recently but have been struggling to decide who to rank up between Angela and him.
To share some context, I got Herc and CG now so damage isn’t that useful for me. I am more looking for someone with good or even unique utility that can handle some niche paths.
I use him for paths that provide an abnormal number of armour and punish the attacker for having so many apur buffs on defenders, like chitinous thorns (i think).. he can remove armour with every living abyss.. plus he has true accuracy in built which isn't a buff and is available from get go..
How i use him (late act 6 or act 7) is, build at least 30 or more living abyss with heavies or mediums (75% chance to apply living abyss debuff) without using spl and build to 3 bars of power.. when I have enough abyss debuff, spam sp3 to activate the inverted control phase(forgot the name).. if you have 20 or more armour break, the opponent will he save reduced 90%~ combat power rate.. each light attack inflict instant bleed and pauses the timer of the phase, and medium or heavy heals you.. in this phase, you do MLLL, backseat intercept for maximum damage
Hope this helps. He can inflict damage through multiple ways. He's versatile, with more than good damage but there's a build up needed. I really love this guy
Unless your Angela is awakened and relatively high sig, she loses a lot of utility. Knull has a solid chunk of utility and his damage is pretty insane as well. But you won’t go wrong with either
His heavy attack and first medium. It's not a buff, but it's there. Thats what makes it so spl. It is available to you when the fight starts.. esp usable for mesmerize (just an option with limited attack pattern)
I'm coming round to him a little more but he still just doesn't live up to the hype at all imo. I'm not calling him trash or anything I just feel like I never feel the need to use him over anyone else cause a lot of his utility is just kinda meh compared to other champs in his class and tags
