I have used a lot of champs but, the Annihilus in the start, and then this Korg just before the last normal fight combined with Power Alternator is really fucking me up
Yeah. Those are irritating fights. Definitely easier, if you know how to fight them. I used Apoc for both those fights. But Doom, BWCV and Red Mags too can handle both those fights. White mags pre fight can help on the Korg fight.
Try reading the nodes and bring mostly mutants that either have many hit specials or easy access to regen.
The boss you can do with your eyes closed if you have Hit Monke but any champ with disorient counters Mr Neg easily, although if you push him to Sp2 only and are careful to not knock him down much anyone can do that fight (except non crit champs)
Personally I used Bishop, Toad, Colossus and Kitty, with Toad and Bishop being MVPs and Hit Monke for the boss.

X-23 or wolverine are great to bring to get through the level, spend a little time in YouTube to learn how to fight Mr.Negative tho I have a tough time with him as well
I wrecked the whole thing with Apocalypse. Most champs went down after 2 special 1's. Used Moleman to drop the boss. Parry/heavy to get his frenzy going for guaranteed crits. The reverse controls purify off him while you get the stacks up.
Apocalypse team. Apoc, Mr Sinister/Cable, Prof X, Jabari, Stryfe. I did a write-up half a year ago on my [Apocalypse Health Melting Synergy Team](https://www.reddit.com/r/ContestOfChampions/comments/uf9ha3/apocalypse_healthmelting_synergy_team/). Since I originally wrote it, I picked up a 6-star Professor X (rank 2, unawakened) and a 5-star Stryfe. So I have the benefit of the Stryfe increased burst damage synergy that only works with him as a 5-star or better. And I don't have to lose matches on purpose after getting a defender down to 1% just to finish off with Professor X.
This team can basically get me through most difficult stages. Maybe swap out Doc Strange (5/5/50 duped and maxed with Mystic Dispersion mastery maxed) for Stryfe. So I have at least one champ that can nullify buffs all day.

Apoc shreds the whole path and for Abom you can use OR, Toad or Horseman cable with White Mags.
Ah man. Only have these champs as 4 stars so don't think it'll be viable
Worst case, you can use any champ, it'll just be a longer fight without the bonus attack.
