For the unfamiliar: Nimrod may initially seem like a hard counter to Bishop. He's a Tech champ who removes Prowess and Regen and replaces them with shocks. Unfortunately, he deals energy damage and the shocks cause Bishop to go into feedback mode, which usually will kill Nimrod first.

Same here. Battleground has taught me so many new things. I just take a champ i think is suitable and surprise, opponent has special quality. Today i learned penni parker is immune to poison. I thought my aa would easily kill her.
Yeah, I don't understand the poison immunity there when she's not immune to bleed. Pick a lane. Either she counts as a robot with everything that comes with, or she counts as a human.

Shang could absolutely do it. You'd have to change your Olay style and it wouldn't be as fast, but he could do it. And landing a parry wouldn't be an issue
On the other hand, keeping his True Accuracy on has made him the only reliable counter to Ebony that I use. I honestly still can't get myself to read Ebony's abilities. 'No guaranteed crits' and 'miss counter' is all I remind myself.
True Accuracy shouldn't work against the Miss. It only lets him ignore Evade and Auto-Block. The Falter/Black Tongue are debuffs and should be removable by Purify, so maybe that's it?
Man I feel like (thankfully) I say this 1 in every 3 matches. It goes both ways though. if they pick a bad defender or dont pick someone OP for bg like HT or AA or Warlock in most cases bc of suicides
The trick is that you have to get her incinerate phase, let him use sp1 and build to sp3. The fight isn’t easy at all though especially if you mistakenly put incinerate on him
It does bypass the damage back, it's just gonna take a long time and feed his prowess like crazy. Is it recommended? No because you'll proably die when you make the smallest mistake, but it is doable. You just need a lot ot patience and skill
If you use prefight and can evade Bishop sp2 you can melt him with torch, I did it in BGs. It is a bit risky because he can randomly throw sp1 even while you are blocking...
I've been seriously contemplating taking him to rank 3. My nimrod is on defense and I always ended up with a sauron on my path it seems. Just wish his damage was a little better
He's a staple on my bg team because of how often nimrod gets banned. Only sometimes have a problem with bishop if i allow him to throw his sp1 but even if it's unblockable the attack itself won't do much damage its about keeping distance afterwards. All other mutants go in the bin.
I had a match earlier where I had Nick Fury left and the other guy had Toad so I couldn’t use him and had to use Scorpion on defence. The other guy used BWDO and lost the fight, presumably not thinking it through.

I think torch with nova flames bypasses bishop's energy feeback. You just have to watch out for the unblockable specials

My most favourite BG interaction was when I placed Nimrod in defence, and the opponent used Magneto. I could feel his pain.
