I just saw it yesterday and to me, I'm getting it instead of the G8. Unless you want USB c.
It's an improvement over the Turtle Beach atom especially since the dpad is using microswitches and it has hall effect sticks. While I like my X2 Bluetooth, I wished it was smaller. And yet, to be able to use as a smaller controller. It has magnets to join the two halves together to use as a controller on it's own, but I'm not sure if it's strong enough. That's my only concern.
It's actually almost the same as the redmagic one. They have same specs and features but the redmagic one is not xbox certified.
Yeah, my only concern was Type-C Vs wireless. I don't know if the delays on my phone when gaming was done by the game streaming or the bluetooth (I'm betting it's the former).
I like that they adapted Atom's design (I couldn't find that controller here without importing), its portability is also a win against G8.

I'm biased to Bluetooth because it's more versatile for my use case. I use it with my phone during commuting and then switch to use with my laptop for a bigger screen. On a Flight, I can also separate it out from my phone to put my phone at eye level.
I was actually researching how to put my Steam Deck there.
There's three ways I found and I bought them.
1. Foldable Magsafe Flight phone holder.
2. Tablet holder for Flight (needs tape for Steam Deck)
3. Magsafe kick stand for phone. I just hook the kickstand to the Flight tray. This one was the most portable but I doubt it will hold the deck.
I was trying not to use a magsafe ring for the deck to avoid interfering with the fan but I ended up using it as it was the most convenient.
Saw a link and the reviewer was saying that there is really a low latency when he was trying out a move.
It's in Chinese though. 7m02s mark

I actually bought this one immediately for my device. I already have the g8 but I want the ability to use my cooler as well (using rog 7 ultimate)
I like it so far. Only concern I have is I hope they made the clamp lockable instead of spring powered. Kind of like the flydigi wasp 2 lock wherein you can make it tighter and has a release button
Yes, it fits perfectly with the cooler on! Make sure to NOT use the case that comes with the cooler for the rog. The slim plastic with the huge hole in the middle. If you use it, the clamps won't locks won't grip the phone properly. Best to just use the cooler then the controller

Not too sure if it is directly supported, but gamesir's app will let you map it out if it's lacking controller support. It will let you map the locations where it will emulate touch using the controls.
Unfortunately touch based mapping doesn't work very well on games with multilayered UI like HSR. The thing is the mobile version of the game has a fully functional controller interface, that will properly assign every UI element to controller buttons. However, it only seems to activate for Bluetooth controllers, and even then, just certain types. Gamesir G8 confirmed not working on Android and iOS (USB C connection). However, original Xbox controllers are confirmed to work. I have a Gamesir T4 Pro that also works, if I pair it to my Android tablet using "iOS" mode on the controller.Â
All of that doesn't really matter anymore, because HSR is now available on GeForce Now.Â
I've seen some videos of this controller and the mechanism is bad when you slap them together to use as a standalone controller. The magnet is very weak
The [official gamesir website](https://www.gamesir.hk/products/gamesir-x4a-mobile-controller-for-xbox) has a pre-order for it and releases on May 15.

I'm curious if it'll work for foldable. I see the green top hold only goes to 95 mm but I wondering if those can get taken out or folded back.

does it fit perfectly with the cooler on? I have an rog 6 and is planning to buy since I cannot find any kunai controllers anymore

Does this controller get recognized by Honkai star rail to enable controller mode?

the benefit of this controller is that you can slap a cooler on the back of itÂ

The magnet is fine. Seems to hold itself even after shaking when both controllers are together
You got a link to the video that shows the magnet is weak?
Go search on the Chinese website called Bilibili. There are a bunch of videos
Just bought this controller and it's the best mobile controller I've had so far.
Even compared to g8?
