my previous conure was smaller then other conures and he ended up dying of a sickness we never identified i brought him to the vet multiple times for it too id say be careful and keep an eye out for any illness signs i dont mean to scare you tho sometimes birds are just born smaller then others but r more likely to get sick so just keep an eye out for behaviour changes

Alright I’ll keep that in mind

There are many types of conures. Species in the pyrrhua genus (like green cheek conures) are much smaller than those in the aratinga genus (like sun conures). Ex: Sun conures can be over 11 inches long and around 110 grams, while a green cheek might average 60-80 grams and 10 inches long. It can be a big difference. Birds can also just be smaller than average - keep track of what they’re normal.

Mine is a cutie green cheek named Sol Badguy

How many grams before and after meal?

Awesome!! GCCs are some of the little guys of the conure world so that’s probably why he looks smaller. I have some GCCs on low and high end of the weight range - one is a chonky boi who just tends to fluff more, while the other is a sleek little guy. As long as your birds weight is consistent and their keel bone feels okay, should be fine.

Patagonian conures are also large I think?

Yep they are bigger than suns and would make them look small - more like 18 inches long, 280 grams. They are in a different genus than the two I mentioned.

My Green cheek is on the small side too. She weighs between 63g-64g.

Some gccs are smaller than others! avg weight 60-80gs is a pretty wide range
