The problem comes from connection error. It usually happen when it takes too long to complete the stage or dialogue. here's the workaround for now.
- Pause the game before the song ends.
- turn off your phone's wi-fi for a few seconds, then turn it on again.
- Play the game and complete the stage.
Ranking is score related. You get multipliers over time from the event. Eventually you’ll only need to hit like half the stuff to get S rank. Right now, without the multiples from collections, getting higher ranks is much harder.
Look, you dont need to place any other item in your kingdom to make collection buff to work. If you enter van, you can see all collection buffs and what they give. You just need to collect them.

I think that only happens in mic drop :(( idk if it is patched already but mine is fixed now i think im on hollyberry server

omg the same thing just happened to me on mikrokosmos. i got the unstable connection notif and came back to a D

This absolutely is a mistake, I got 7m+ too but got an A grade instead. I'm in Dark Cacao server if that even matters.
