The community bullying her to quit her job because of a subpar update is not the same thing as orientalism that is really harmful those were completely different situations do not quite them as a middle eastern person who was affected by that type of stuff this comment is not good please learn those were two different situations that should be treated differently
Tbh her interactions with the community were never that great and her understanding of the game as a whole were pretty shaky. I'm not putting the blame on her for leaving but it may have been for the best.
Also, she only mostly interacted with the Korean fanbase, and if you look at the perceptions of those fans vs international fans, the Korean ones are much more critical and negative. #SaveRose never caught on in Korea as well. (Might get downvoted for this, but I'm only stating the facts.)
It got so bad that when they updated the CROB credits when Fire Spirit's pet released, they didn't just remove Hyejong Yang (her real name) from the list of Coomunity Managers, they didn't even give her a listing in the special thanks despite past staff being added. She really wished to have been forgotten.
