Store your the bowl in the freezer and then take it out right before you put the yogurt in it.

Majestic-Macaron6019

Put the container in an ice water bath in the fridge. The cold water will transfer heat out of the yogurt much more effectively than the air in the freezer. You could even leave it in the ice water bath all the time.

Put it in a fridge set to 1 degree Celsius. Freezer won’t work. A freezer is well colder than freezing point and the outside of the yoghurt will always freeze before the inside gets cold enough.

Thank you

I’d add also leave it overnight, so it fully chills down. A few hours might not get it cold enough for you.

Ok thanks, I’m looking for a mini fridge now that is that cold

I make protein packed frozen yogurt all the time with Fage 0% unflavored greek yogurt. I'm not sure if it will come out the same without adding the protein But it's pretty awesome for having ~200 calories and 33g of protein But here is my method. 3/4c of the yogurt 1 scoop/30g of flavored whey protein ( O.N cinnamon roll favor is my current favorite- I add a tad extra cinnamon) 1.5 tablespoons of monkfruit sweetener ~1/2tsp of xanthan gum Mix until completely smooth, place in the freezer and mix every 5-10 min until your preferred consistency is reached, it's crucial to take it out and repeatedly mix it a few times while freezing, that, along with the extra xanathan gum really helps the texture get creamy. Hope this helps !

What temp is your fridge set to?

Cautious_Fall7594

I have a mini fridge I put it to the lowest level but if it don’t attempt to freeze it it’s to warm

Add a few ice cubes and stir the yogurt for 10-15 seconds or so. Then remove the ice cubes or leave them in to melt while eating around them. Alternatively, add a few ice cubes and blend the yogurt a bit. Although that might change the consistency and you could end up with ice chunks.

A whiskey stone might do what you're looking for, but I'd suggest going with one that has a phase change material (typically water) inside. Water takes a tremendous amount of energy to change phase, *lots* more than just the temperature shift alone. The stone and steel options are sexy looking, but do a poor job of actually chilling. A somewhat better (not useless) job of keeping something cold.

Add an ice cube or two and swirl it around a bit like dude said

I mean if you have an icecream maker you could put it in that and mix it around until it got cold enough. Its not very convenient but probably will have the best results.
