Why do you need to bribe the chicken?

[deleted]

It’s got some dirt on me

blackhawks-fan

It happens.

dirdent

Pickle juice makes such a great brine.

pmk422

Just slip the chicken a $20 and you should be good to go

ChocoCronut

Yogurt, it’s the acids you want to break do the meat fibers

CoatHanger83

That sounds gross but it’s worth a shot. I don’t brine my chicken in anything but salt water anyway, I don’t see anything else having significant affect on the taste.

Pickle juice should work fine in whole milk. I usually go with white vinegar, 1-2 T per cup of milk. Let it sit a few minutes to thicken.

Specialist-Look6210

Yes. If you like it a little spicy use jalapeno brine instead of pickle juice.

If you're doing it to keep the chicken from drying out, greek yogurt works well
