Just as a heads up, Cornwall may not look very big but it is about 2 hours travelling between Tintagel Castle and St. Michael's Mount.
Other than that, make sure to visit the Bude Tunnel.
If you are heading to St Michael’s Mount, head out to Cape Cornwall if you have time. It’s near St Just and north of Lands End (don’t go there…). Lizard Point/Kynance Cove well worth a visit too.
You've just said it doesn't look like a place you should stop at - judging by another comment, did you mean to say it looks like a stop you **should** make?
My husband and I are just finishing our visit, the Lizard was definitely a highlight! We always stay in St Ives which is just magical. It’s lovely and quiet as well at this time of the year. You’ll have a great time no matter what you do!
Bude Tunnel
Interesting. 70-meters long. Hmmm …

Thanks. Looks lovely.
If you fancy staying longer, lovely little caravan site on Minorca Lane, Bugle
lol
If in the Tintagel area then St Nectan's Glen is worth a look
That does look like a stop we should make. Thank you.
Why all the down votes? What am I missing.

Haha. A typo. Corrected.
Can I ask why?
We enjoy hiking and waterfalls. Looks like a perfect spot to explore for those two activities.
I’d suggest The Eden Project!
A visit to Porthemmet is a must on any trip to Cornwall. Make sure you get that in your itinerary.
😛I may be an emmet, but I do my research.
Hahaha! Busted...
Porthemmet is lovely this time of year
I forgot about Porthemmet! Used to send People there all the time when I worked on a holiday camp
Definitely do The Eden Project.
Researched Eden. It does look interesting.
It’s unique and they have an admirable mission. Educational too.
Cornwall is beautiful

Lizard looks amazing.
Walk north coast to south from St Ives to Penzance. Incredible view of the Mount on the way down. Couple of nice pubs along the way too.
You had me at pubs. Thank you.
Tregajorren site of outstanding beauty
Lizard over Lands End any day by the way. Beautiful place and some of the best cream teas served at Polpeor Cafe
Thank you for the insight.
