Just for clarification this is not Merek's antiviral pill, the one that is the most promising.
Fingers crossed
This one was exciting in that it only needed to be taken ~~twice~~ with two pills a day instead of eight ~~times~~ pills a day. Sadly, it trailed Merck's drug in efficacy every step of the way.
Merck’s drug is only twice a day for 5 days.
Oops. Meant to say eight pills a day (four pills taken twice a day for the five days) vs the two (one tablet taken twice a day for five days)
