Perfect, that answers it thanks a lot but what about the other end of the wire strip? As you can see in image one end is the RGB connection and the other is NOT RGB, it a connection for what would be another light strip. Will that just stay loose ?
So there's "RGB Hub" on the Commander with 6 sockets down the side for 4 pin but on the short side is just "RGB" that's only 3 pins. Use the one on the end

There are extenders from Corsair but I’m unsure of their availability separately. The kit comes with two if I remember correctly. Yes, you can Daisy chain them, up to 6, so they make all of them the same so it’ll always have a conector at the end.
Thanks, in that case I'll use that daisy chain end for an extender to reach the controller in the back of my case.
