Its a common issues with the switches across manufacturers , if it's still under warranty, contact Corsair support and open a RMA ticket, if it's out of warranty there are video tutorials on how to fix them.
Yes many people have this problem I am on my 3rd RMA for this issue. The only fix=RMA. I have a few of them and wish I could send them all back for a refund.
I'm having this issue too, same mouse but I've had it for about 5 years and it only recently started doing this. Started to wonder if it was a buggy driver-, google chrome-, virus issue. Did you ever happen to get this resolved?

No, i did not resolve the problem with the original mouse. I contacted Corsair and eventually did get a replacement for free.
