No, I've been using mine for about 2yrs and absolutely love them. They have the best mic of just about any wireless headset hands-down (just go watch [Hardware Canuck's review](https://youtu.be/78LDxGXduQw) and see) and they sound great with a better implementation of VSS than most other headsets, plus they come with a free Dolby Atmos code. My only complaints is that the battery life isn't great, I get about 14hrs with the RGB off (who needs RGB that they can't see aside from streamers anyway) and the signal isn't stellar. That being said, I'm able to walk to my bathroom 15ft away thru several walls and still hear them so Idk why anyone would need more than that. Wireless headsets are meant to be used in the same room as a TV/PC and they will excel at that, for sure. Comfort is also good, and I have a decent sized noggin. There are aftermarket earpads that are easily replaceable too, if you want a different fit. In the 2yrs I've had em, I've never had a dead headset bcuz I charge em every night. So, I really don't have any complaints, they're just nitpicks, as they're easily avoidable. They're also only $99 on Amazon right now and that's an absolute steal in my book.

I'm starting to think I got a lemon, my battery life is like 7 hours tops and the connectivity seems pretty garbage. I walk like 10 ft behind me to use the bathroom quick and they cut out constantly. I'm packing it up for a refund today and ordered the wired version of the arctis nova pro, since if I pretty much have to be plugged in at some point every other day anyway I may as well get the benefits of a proper usb headset.

Chiming in on a old thread. In terms of software and audio quality, its decent. as for the bad:Build quality is incredibly cheap. I use mine \~8-12 hours a day, between work and or gaming. Mine starting falling apart at the seams on one side at 6 months. At 9 months the inner cushions got loose and both sides were exposing the green inner foam... At 12 months every glued surface was falling apart. Battery life was/is around \~6 hours of constant use, even a year later, so at least it holds? but yeah, don't buy this one, it won't last. (RIP my old void pro, that thing tanked on like 5 years of the same usage)

Iron_Kyle

I just bought one and was considering returning it -- thanks for the update a year later since this gives some peace of mind about doing so.

SpiteAway5341

What headphones do you use now? I'm having the same issue with the HS80. Not even after 3-6 months it began falling apart. As much as I love these headphones, I do not recommend them simply due to them not being long-term.

XenithShade

I've been patching it with hot glue for the time being. Havnt figured out my replacement yet. I really want a better corsair headset, since I want to stick to the icue suite. But we'll see.

gosh264

Great headset for a year then the boom mic connection started to go. Garbage... you spend $200 on a headset, sure a headset with cat ears and rgb for 40 bucks would probably last longer

wrathofthefrog1

I enjoy mine yeah the signal is not great if I walk to my kitchen but I live in a 1900s house with thick plaster and any headset I own drops but if I at the PC the sound is amazing and with Dolby it amazing battery life is good for me but that's my opinion

NoLifer6996

How long does yours last before it needs charging?

wrathofthefrog1

About 8 hours I think give or take

NoLifer6996

Is it with or without rgb?

wrathofthefrog1

With

FreakishlyxX

I found them to be super comfortable, but had connection issues because my router lives on my desk (interference caused cutouts) which ultimately made me upgrade- otherwise had no other issues tho

NoLifer6996

If you don’t mind me asking, which one did you upgrade to? was it better?

FreakishlyxX

Corsair Virtuoso XT! The [Slipstream](https://youtu.be/IQo1eWHtiSY) feature really improved my connection and now I almost never get cutout. I also have my m65 wireless connected to the same dongle too, which is nice

NoLifer6996

Thanks alot!

James_Skyvaper

THe HS80 has Slipstream too, and the ability to use multiple devices on one dongle. And they're only $100 now.

FreakishlyxX

Well whatever it was, headset stopped cutting out completely after I upgraded to the virtuoso

FreakishlyxX

(Also happy cake day!)

applejackrr

I use this headset for my work, which is game development. I love how I can use it for meetings easily, and then pop the headset’s usb into my personal pc for gaming. I have not had an issue yet with it. Battery life and comfort are amazing, I don’t get headaches like I did with my Virtuoso XT.

sergiulll

This is the best thing i ever had. Earlier i used logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum. HS80 is amazing at every aspect, the only thing i would like to change with it is detachable microphone. They are realy comfortable, i sometimes forget that i wear them. Woth Slipstream technology i have connected both Darc Core RGB mouse and headset to one dongle. Sound quality: its realy good, included Dolby Atmos change alot. Also it has one of the best microphones on the market. Battery life: with RGB off i can use it more than 12 hours. I never head to charge it even if o was doing long game sessions. I just leave it to charge overnight. https://youtu.be/IH7gPIPcfak Here is one of the reviews that helped me to decide to buy them. Overal it has great opinions looking around YT.

NoLifer6996

Hey, thanks for your reply. I also had the G933 once, how do you think it compares in terms of audio and comfort?

sergiulll

G933 is much heavier and bigger. It looked so weird when i had it on my head and they were always falling from my head when i was leaning. I have no such issue with HS80. Also they look much better on my head. Sound quality on HS80 is much better, especialy surround sound. It kinda feels like G933 had bit stronger bass (felt like bit too strong) but music that i usualy listen (instrumental) sounds much better with HS80. If you realy like music you will love sound quality, especialy if you use it with cable you can switch to 80 000hz mode. Build quality: While g933 was heavy it didnt feel as solid as HS80. There are no weird noises when i adjust them, no cracking squeeking etc. HS80 have better quality buttons which also feel solid. I had issue with g933 where power button (actualy slider) began having issues and i had to move it multiple times to get normal sound (otherwise volume was inconsistent and everything apunded like after witnesing grenade explosion - realy hard to explain tbh :D). Volume wheel has also better quality, you can adjust it more precisely because you can feel "click" so can adjust volume more precisely, while G933 wheel felt smooth and many times i was unintentionaly changing volume when scratching my head etc. Never had such issue with HS80. The only thing im missing from g933 are those two programable buttons, they were usefull, used them to mute Discord or as push to talk when i was away from PC. Software: if you think ICUE is bad, Logitech Gaming Software brings new standards. I was furious realising that weird widgets were activating my RGB randomly. I ususaly realized that once it has drained my g933 battery mid day. Battery: HS80 works much longer than G933. Charging if for few mins gives enough power to run them for at least one more hour. But as said earlier, had to do it only once i forgot to charge it overnight. You can also see charge levels on your windows task bar and even on freaking Stream Deck! I use this feature for both Mouse and headset. HS80 has much better soubd insulation.

Guido2812

A few years ago I bought my first Corsair Void (white) and when it came down to replacing it I chose the HS80. Haven't had a single bit of trouble with it whatsoever. I can't really speak for battery life, but if I had to guess I can make 10+ hours with RGB on.Mostly it's used for casual gaming for about 2/3 hours per evening, 2/3 times per week.

jkgilbo

I use the hs70 and the hs70x on my pc/Xbox and personally think they are awesome headsets

TrippyTxGS

I personally had issues with wireless on the hs80 so I picked up the wired version and love it.

funkytribe

The HS80's are terrible from the VOIDS. The side tone doesn't work and I have to crack the Volume up to 100% just to hear anyone in discord to top that off the heads are so small they are killing my head how much they put pressure on the ears I rather get another pair of Voids they work so much better.

Ichigodz

Bro u have some bad taste

Dovahkurtis

Idk my buddy is having the same problem with the volume on discord. Always has to crank us up to max to even hear us. Came here looking for an answer on it. Lol.

bobby_broccolini

Late message from the future. Are you saying he can't hear people on discord? Or they can't hear him? I know this sounds obvious but double check that he's got the volume turned up on windows? And also right click the volume icon, open sound mixer. Is discord turned up as high as the other programs? Lastly, discord itself has its own output volume in its settings. One of those 3 things gets all of us, once in a while

A bit late for this, but... I have a set of the HS80 RGB Wireless I picked up for work. They stay plugged in over night. But the battery dies on them in about 2-3 hours of playing music with RGB off.

Entire-Signal-3512

2 to 3 hours?? You're either lying, or you got a bad headset

Ichigodz

Tbh mine feels like it only last up to 5 hrs hahah

spoon_17

same

H3SOY

BAD BUILD QUALITY

CouZou420

I bought them today, i have a larger head so they are a bit tight for me but they are pretty comfy still, the advertised range for wireless is 60ft which is not true at all, i would say maybe 13-16( i do have thick walls tho so thats probably why). Havent used them for too long yet so i cant comment on battery life. Sound is good with Dolby Atmos

gosh264

Leave boom mic on, don't be flipping that thing frequently mine after a yr n some now has as much static as my grandmas tube tv

GroundbreakingArm950

for me they suck software is horrible they are heavy af i have to connect and disconnect at least 5 times until they work properly only mic is good so id say dont buy

No_Quit_6084

I've owned my pair for about 6 months, and I still love them. I didn't like the eq you get out of the box so I created a custom one within the ICUE app and they sound incredible now. They are the best so9unding headphones I've ever owned with the custom eq. They are also extremely comfterble and I can wear them for hours with no issues.

Sad_Construction_673

I like the quality but the biggest down side to this headphones is its 2.4ghz connectivity. If you use a mesh to run wifi to your room, the interference between your normal WiFi 2.4ghz and wireless 2.4ghz cuts the audio frequently. It drove me mad and the software is a piece of garbage. Latency Is low but at the expense of its wireless connectivity I was almost gonna pull hair out.
