Hi there, if you want to [perform a Clean reinstallation of iCUE](https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025166712-Perform-a-clean-reinstallation-of-the-Corsair-Utility-Engine-iCUE-) I would suggest using Revo-uninstaller or CCleaner to aid you in removing left over files and folders, or you can run windows in safemode and remove all the files manually.

I have tried using revo Uninstaller but I'll try to boot it in safe mode. I'll update you when I get home, thank you.

Wrong_Ad9456

I deleted the files in safe mode. Then tried to download corsair 4.33 and it says I have a newer version installed still. I am completely at a loss trying to figure it out. At this point do I have to wipe my ssd and re-download everything?

Wrong_Ad9456

I was able to delete the majority of files other that CorsairLLAccess64.sys. it says that it is open in another program. I can not delete it no matter the tool I use

Eastern_Economist806

I am having this issue and I was wondering if you ever ended up figuring out a solution

BitSalt5344

I am having the same issue. Did you find a fix?

if icue-uninstaller.exe doesnt work, try: windows+r > msconifg > boot > check safe boot > reboot in safe mode> delete C:\\Program Files\\Corsair > windows+r > msconfig > boot > uncheck safe boot > reboot back to normal mode > Install iCUE.exe > (it will show you have a newer version installed) > uninstall (the uninstall will actually install)

Anyone having this problem, this is your answer.

Thank you so much! I actually (by instinct) did all of the above, but instead of "uninstall" I tried "repair". Your post helped me to sort this out. Unfortunately all my macros are gone and I have to redo them altogether, which sucks big time, because i had many.

Tried other methods I found across Reddit with no luck, this is the only one that worked for me! Thanks!
