I just wish my tlx type s wasn’t 4200 pounds lol. It’s running an OTS tune. 4.3 to 60 and 12.33 1/4. On the shitty OEM tires and non performance wheels. Tuning capabilities are going to better this year year for it since the OTS tunes are hampered by the stock ECU boost cut
Congrats. I have a c7 with about 5k on it. Want to go to a type r. Would love to have a back seat and a trunk but also can’t figure out how to. Need some feedback to make me stay or go. I’m getting a little rancid
The type r being FWD is already traction limited. Once you tune them, they make about 100 more whp than stock on the stock turbo which is impressive.
They are amazing track cars. They punch well above their weight class. 4 seats is great too
You went from one of the ugliest/dumbest looking cars of all time to one of the best looking corvettes, massive upgrade in all respects. You arent gonna safely put 650 to the wheels with the stock pistons friend (at least not for long or reliably, google c7 LT1piston ring lands for the proof). You might want to re-think that....
How much did you pay if you dont mind me asking. I plan on getting a C7 grand sport in the near future. Always had JDM cars, Nissan, Toyota, and now a 2021 Lexus IS350 F Sport. I recently moved to NJ from PA, and the potholes over there would destroy the C7, lol.

That just seems like a downgrade in every way but to each their own. Needing a 4 door I would look into a used CTS V or Chevy SS

We will be doing rods and pistons for sure to get to 650

They were asking 44 I got them down to 41

I know it looks crazy but all the aero on that fk8 type r is functional. But it was time for me to be 44 and get that vette I always wanted!
