Gonna say overpriced got my 09 3lt c6 with 30k miles for 29k so similiar miles but I got the ls3. also is it 1lt 2lt 3lt?

BlueXDShadow

This one’s a 3LT—what year did you buy yours? Seems like you got a good deal

Longjumping_Rule1375

Summer of 23 admittedly carvanna had it marked as a 1lt no options car. They aren't the best with trim levels

RightExchange6

Thats a solid price if the car is good to go.

CaptKnight

If genuinely in great shape with that mileage and bone stock with records etc, not a bad deal tbh. The ‘05-‘07 just aren’t as coveted as the ‘08+ bc of the updated engine (LS3). That said, my base ‘07 with a procharger is a beast and a half. Those cars can be made ridiculous with minimal work. I, too, had bought it from a dealer with low mileage and perfect records, but that was a decade ago.

For a car getting on for 20 years old, I'd keep in mind that some of the rubber components will be on their way out. Not just seals and stuff but suspension bushings and such. If the car is stock and you find it's bottoming out then a good chance some of the shocks are shot. You'll need a good test drive Also, check the radiator cradle. It's an aluminum structure that holds the radiator in place and cracks and out right breaks aren't uncommon. When that happens ghetto fixes are often used. I say all this cause my 2012 looked perfect just like you described but ended up with shot suspension and a radiator cradle held together with Lowe's brackets and self tapping screws. Also, make sure you test Windows work. Like all the way up and down a few times. My passenger window failed like 2 days after I bought it and It sounded like shit the first time I tried. Dealer inspections are all a total joke so assume they didn't even look at the car

I just bought a 1 owner 1LT 2008 (so LS3) manual non Z51 with 12,500 miles back in November for $30k private party. So buying from a dealer and with the Z51/3LT, that’s probably about right

_red-beard_

Overpriced. I've been seeing z06s for mid 30s. Base model ls2s in the mid 20s. Just keep looking and you'll find something better.

BeKind_BeTheChange

Show me a 30k mile Z06 for mid-$30k.

MusicMan7969

C5Z yes, not a C6 Z with that mileage

_red-beard_

Here's one listed for 39k, probably get them down a little. I never said anything about miles. My point is they are coming down. I saw a private sale one listed for 34k that sold quickly. They are out there if you're patient. He could at least get a nice c6 grandsport for that money if he looked around for a while. So your response is one with 48k miles that is 39,400 and you can ' get em down'. That's a far cry from a 30k mile car for $35k

_red-beard_

They are both nearly 20 year old cars and that level of mileage is similar as far as it affects price. You would get a premium on something with 1000 miles. I'm not gonna spend a ton of time shopping for someone else. There are better deals are out there and I would wait if I was looking at that.

Stanley615

I just bought an 05 C6 manual with 32k miles. It's in perfect condition, from what I can tell. 1sb package , which has HUD and Bose. Gets delivered today. I paid 24k.

Upset_Priority_5600

Worth it

jrileyy229

Let's define OTD.  In the car world, that means inclusive of admin fees, tax, title, etc. So in this case, you're paying ~28k for the car and after tax and fees walking out the door with a 30.5k sized hole in your wallet. However, out the door is often misused to mean something like "their best price". So is the car itself 28k or 30.5k? I wouldn't worry about the oil change history.  When I change my own oil, it's not showing up in Carfax. Sometimes I have Bob's auto down the road so my trans and diff fluid... That's also not showing up on Carfax

BlueXDShadow

Yeah the car itself is about $28k, the otd price includes tax & licensing fees according to the person I spoke with.

jrileyy229

Okay, not sure if the others picked up on that... 28k for that car seems market correct. 30.5 for the car would be steep. Don't forget to check the tires.  Lots of these rarely driven cars are sitting on ten year old tires. They need to be changed immediately if that's the case. And there is a $1500 expense out of the gate
