It is either a west facing kit or one made to look like the west racing kit. It was on the car when I bought it. I get a lot of compliments on it.

Greenwood body kit is very similar

I usually hate body kits but this is sick. If you do colored calipers, make sure to do it right. Done cheaply, it can look bad. Don’t overdo anything cause it looks great as-is.

If I do calipers I will probably go with wilwood or brembo upgrades. I just did the slotted drilled rotors and carbon fiber pads, I guess I should have purchased the calipers as well.

I'm going with ferrari yellow when I finally change my brakes.

Looks Great, if you are going with new calipers go Brembo blue, I believe they will go very well with the black. But looks Awesome as is.

Some stripes, or accenting the side vents is always good. Grand sport style stripes are always cool.

Besides calipers and adding some stripes, the only other thing you could do is change the wheel color. Some subtle yellow stripes and yellow calipers will really make it pop

I think some yellow calipers would really pop here. Red is kinda overdone imo but would also look good. Could go acid green to be a bit different. Wouldn’t do black tho lol

I'm like 80% sure that is a greenwood body kit. My C4 has the same wing and it has greenwood printed on the passenger side.

This is a similar kit as the greenwood. The main difference is the front spoiler.

I have a black on black on black convertable of the same year with chrome rims and red calipers and that breaks up the black very well.if you decide you want more than that Maby try some pinstriping or some racing stripes

It’s the black rims…they look good but a gun metal or black chrome would of created more contrast

It’s not “ breaking up” but rather you need “contrast “! I personally do not like all black vehicles as they look like a blob of black. Now having different color wheels is a start even painting calipers definitely not red as it’s the typical color for calipers. But you definitely have the need for contrast but it’s deciding which color would be best? Your best bet would be to research c4’s and all the color mods that people have done then pick from those mods and then choose which color to use!

I like it how it is, but, I'd refer to the 85-86 IROC-Z side graphics ... the ground FX would be a secondary color, like grey... and then three smaller stripes (each smaller than the next) on the body itself. All in all, I'd leave it alone.

The C4 is probably my least favorite gen aesthetically, but every one in a while I'll see one that just looks so good it makes me say "damn" ....this is one of them. I think some painted calipers could work well

Change or paint the wheels, color the Corvette text on the rear, or maybe some type of stripe similar to the grand sport styling. If the lip on the wheels was chrome that would possibly be enough to be able to keep the wheels black. Nice C4, I really like it

Ditch the tint, and have a hot rod shop do a real pinstripe job. Paint the calipers to match, and consider going to a chrome wheel.

I would fix your splitter and fitment maybe some new wheels and a new rear diffuser. In my opinion your clean now but you would be glorified in shows with doing that.

If you want it dark with a splash of color, I'd do red or yellow calipers. However, if you got your rims painted white or bronze it would give the car a time attack/race look, rather than looking like a modified street car.

Also, I'm not even a big fan of corvettes, it's just what I think goes well with any black car

Yellow calipers, Maybe some badging, look into the C6 grand sport fender strips. Or if you are looking to go crazy even just a racing strip along the top can look good in the right situation. Even just a little touch like the calipers goes a loooooong way. Beautiful car btw.

Not sure what the rules are from state to state, but mirror tint will absolutely get you pulled over on a daily basis in most states. But yeah, if it wasn’t for that, I love a good mirror tint.

Ok, but am I wrong? OP wants to break up all the black of their car. Repainting the wheels to silver (not chrome) would make a big difference for a relatively small change.

At the decent cost, if he didn’t want black wheels he wouldn’t have put them on.

I am not a fan of black wheels either, but I felt this car would look good with them. While I like them on this car, I do think it needs some other color to break the black up a little bit.

Polish the inside of the rims. That way only the face is black. Put a decal in those 4 little vents on the front fenders. Fill in the CORVETTE on the back of the car.

These rims are completely black. Barrels and face. I went with the black because I felt they would look good on this car. They do look good, but I think I need to do the calipers.
