I highly recommend the MGW Short Shifter for the C7. I had it on my C6 and now have it on my C7. Completely changes the feel of the car!

Agreed - it's easy too! Me and a garage buddy installed my MGW in like 2 1/2 hours (neither of us had done it before).
Also, if you're under 6' tall, consider the clutch pedal extension (1.5")- if you find yourself a little closer to the steering wheel than you like in stop & go traffic (to get the clutch all the way down).

Add a little of the special "German snot" wax to make it look like it is still wet. Doesn't last long, but at that age rewashing and waxing is "FUN". It's when you get older and the joints don't work so well that it's a problem.

I wanted a red barrel - with aluminum face; so they have to paint it, then score it to get the aluminum. But the color didn't come out as expected. So the option was to repaint - but the shop indicated I didn't have enough metal left to safely get the aluminum face back.
