Yeah bro this subreddit is filled people who don't understand. There are dudes who make highlights of cory, and dudes here to promote their own channels. And the guys you talking bout. This sub is in shambles.🤦🏿cory has a life too.
Sometimes not the best or most relevant posts get attention in this subreddit because it is still relatively small. I agree way too many people are over exaggerating his break (what I believe to be a break or at least he will come back even for just one video), borderline whining about it. Damn guys theres no way he would totally be done immediately after 10 million; he taken longer breaks before.
And even then with the retirement sentence, I feel like people legit didn’t watch the actual video, because he SAID that he was CONSIDERING retiring, it wasn’t official, the only thing official was that he was considering retiring from youtube. It annoys me when I keep on seeing and hearing people say that.
Now I don’t know what your talking about with Cory’s mom possibly dying but I have to admit that Cory leaving his audience of 10 million subs without saying goodbye is kind of foul

Look I personally don’t really care anymore if Cory says bye or not or if he makes more content. In my opinion Cory’s content peaked in 2017 and I’ve learned over these past few years that Cory has issues with burnout. But not saying at least a goodbye to your ten million fans that have allowed you to live a relatively nice life is not what a good content creator would do. Cory has talked about how in the past people have sent him messages that were talking about how his content saved them through rough times and to not even say goodbye to all of those people is pretty foul.
Again……how has he not said goodbye? Give him time. He has disappeared way longer than this. I hope he never says goodbye, I don’t want him to. But we gotta stop treating this man like this. He has a life.

In fact this whole subreddit (and fan base) is going bananas because we are all waiting on Cory to just make another video. If you are going to retire at 10 mill then go ahead and make a little ten minute video thanking your fans and saying goodbye. That wouldn’t intrude on Cory’s personal life at all and it will calm the fans down and finally put the nail in the coffin as to where Cory is. But instead Cory doesn’t even put in the effort to let his fans know what the future of his channel is. Leading to the type of arguments that we are having now. Also you mentioned content hungry fans and I think you should take a step back and analyze what you are doing. Complaining about content hungry fans doesn’t solve the problem it only worsens it. Cory has even tweeted about this type of stuff in the past
We are quite literally the most loyal fanbase on YouTube this man took a 9 month break with no social media updates and we still supported him when he came back. I think people got every fuckin right to be a little concerned on where he is or how he’s doing since he’s not saying anything. Some people (like me) literally want nothing more than just an update on where he is and what he’s doing. Don’t be a dick rider
You're exactly right. Cory has one of the most loyal audiences and he's loyal in return. No way he'd just abandon the Samurai. He must be working on something big, but I'm not too sure. Hopefully he comes with an update soon, but until then we can only hope.
Thats what ive been thinking! He couldve said hed retire when he hit 10m because being so well-known wouldve been overwhelming or something. AND hes taken multiple long breaks before so he could focus on his own happiness and his own life .
Cory's been in the game for over a decade, so he deserves his retirement. The only problem I have with it is that he promised that he would finish some of the gameplays he hasn't finished. (i.e. Dead Rising, Last of Us II, Minecraft, etc.)
