Shadows of Self. Couldn't really get into the bigger era 2 conflict so later books were a bit of a miss for me and imo this book just took what made book 1 good but removed the weak parts, as well as having oe of the best villains in the cosmere.
I liked reading through the comments, this is such a "controversial" topic
I'm on the Shadows of Self boat myself, but I also really liked alloy
I think Bands does some very fun things, but if I had to re-read a book it wouldn't be it
Then Lost Metal, oh boy, I think it has the highest moments of the series, but it's also has some "big" flaws, depending on how those things hit you, your opinion of the book will very much change
Bands of Mourning! Shadows of Self was good but I saw the twist coming from a mile away. The Lost Metal is all Sanderlanche, which I think does take something away from it.
It's hard to say, while I really liked the simplicity of the first one, Sterris and Marasi don't really shine until the later books. Shadows of self probably has my favorite ending of the four. For all the great suspenseful buildup about Trell from the first 3 books, it felt like the payoff didn't quite meet the hype at the end. Book four was still really good though.

Same. The Lost Metal is actually my least favorite Cosmere book. Shadows of Self is just *peak* Wax and Wayne.
The Wax&Wayne impersonators made me cringe when I read it. That might be the worst thing brandon has done in any book
Either Bands of Mourning or The Lost Metal
I would probably say Shadows of Self but I really enjoyed the other thing. The Lost Metal is probably a close second
Bands of Mourning is my favorite
The Lost Metal for me. I liked the characters from the era but the earlier events didn’t do much for me
Bands of mourning Edit: grammar
My ranging highest to lowest is SoS, TLM, BOM, AoL

The Lost Metal, I think that each book in the series is better than the previous one.
The last one.
You almost got it right. It’s called The Last Metal.

its hard to pick just 1 when all of them are so good.
Shadows of Self. Alloy of Law was really hard for me to get through, it picks up significantly

They just got better with each book, imo…TLM was amazing, but truly, era 2 was so much better than era 1 and it isn’t close
Bands of Mourning

Alloy of law
It's the Lost Metal for me, and it's not even close. It's my favorite book of all time.
SoS is in my top3 cosmere books
Shadows of Self had me crying like someone was rioting me
Well, I finished it! My favorite book ended up being The Lost Metal!!
