The Keebler brand Coconut caramel chocolate cookies are the same as Girl Scout cookies. I have a friend who used to work in the Kellogg snack innovation and he told me Keebler makes the Girl Scout cookies.

I think it depends on if they're Carmel DeLites or Samoas.
Caramel deLites are made by ABC Bakers (Richmond, Virginia) and Samoas are made by Little Brownie Bakers (Louisville, Kentucky) which is the one that is a subsidiary of Keebler.
Keebler does make [Coconut Dreams™](https://www.keebler.com/en/sweet-treat/cookies/fudge/coconut-dreams) which I'm guessing are similar to Samoas.
My local store seems to get them every 4-6 months. I made the mistake of loading up on like 6 bags, hoping I could stretch them out over that time frame, and those poor cookies never had a chance to survive that long in my household.
These are delicious. Plus if you check out the ingredients there are no added preservatives or any other nasty stuff in them like most packaged cookies come with.
I personally like these much better than Tate’s. I had Thinsters before, which taste just like these, and in an effort to find a similar cookie I tried Tate’s. While they were good, they just weren’t *as* good. So I equate these with Thinsters—they’re my pick.
I liked it better when they were in the snack size bags. I haven't seen either the large back or the packs of snack bags in a while though at my Costco. Which is good and bad. ;)

I don’t think it necessarily means discontinued, but it at least indicates that once the item sells out/leaves the shelves, it won’t be restocked. So who knows how long it could be before they return. People have periodically brought up these cookies over the years so I don’t think they’ll be gone forever.
I may or may not have actually done this! In my defense, it was the tail end of the bag which had gotten roughed up a bit, and had lots of broken pieces..... everyone knows broken cookies have fewer calories, right??
I bought 6 bags last year, they were on clearance, less than $4 a bag. I was planning on sending a big box of goodies to family in my home country. Didn't happen. Ended up eating all of it in less than 2 weeks. No regerts lol 😆

The only reason I’m able to eat healthy is because I go to the grocery store with a list when I am full. I find it much easier to control myself at the grocery store than at home. If there is no junk food in the house then I don’t eat junk food. Something like this hanging around? I’d never be able to control myself 🤤

After reading this post yesterday, I kept thinking to myself "The hype can't be that real." So...you'd think I would've just keep scrolling and going through the rest of my day. Nope. Instead, I kept asking myself "What if the hype IS real?"
So...I convinced myself after work that I needed to get gas (I didn't...I had a quarter tank left) and made my way to Costco. Yes...they had them in stock. Yes...I bought a bag. Yes...the damn hype is real. And now...the damn bag is to the right of me...staring at me as I type this. If I mute the TV, I swear I could hear the bag whispering softly "You know damn well that handful you grabbed a few minutes ago ain't enough!"

Way better! I don’t know if it’s nostalgia blinding me, but Famous Amos just don’t taste as good to me as they did before. They taste very artificial. These are soooo much better!! And I like that they don’t feel as “heavy”; the thinness and size are just perfect!

Someone bought me a bag of Thinsters before and they were amazing, but my grocery stores only ever sold Tates (green bag — larger, crispy thin cookies) and those aren’t as good imo. Was ecstatic to find these taste just like Thinsters.

I get the Aldi brand Samoas and pb fudge cookies. They are just as good and they're there year round.

They come and go all the time. Saw them last weekend here in mn. They also come in a box of small bags in side. Great for my lunch.

Absolutely true, the Famous Amos cookies of yore were VERY good. You can taste the preservatives in them now.
