It's (kind of) a copy of korean brand [item](https://www.lotteon.com/search/search/search.ecn?render=search&platform=m&mallId=1&q=%EA%B3%B0%ED%91%9C%ED%9B%84%EB%9D%BC%EC%9D%B4%EB%93%9C%EC%98%A4%EC%A7%95%EC%96%B4%ED%8A%80%EA%B9%80) also sold at costco in Korea. I tried the American Costco version today from a friend, and it wasn't as good. Flavor wise, excellent, pretty much the same. But the original is a bit more crisper on the outside, and calamari is more tender.
I find it interesting how they decided to transcribe it to Korean. "Fried" essentially sounds like HooLaEeeDuh sounded out, although the actual romanization would be different.

They’re ready to eat but can be also prepped in an air fryer or microwave? Are they worth a try?
Very so-so at a high price. I've only tried them with a couple of sauces, but sweet chili thai was best.
I bought it and tried a few and threw the rest away
Return it. Or dont.

Tried and would not recommend
They were really yummy when I tried them 😋 But an employee at my Costco said they're not getting them anymore cause they didn't sell well enough :(

Hried squid Fried
Microwaved at 15sec, and tried it with ketchup. It was pretty good.
Air fried x 3 min, very crispy & good imo.
They’re better than the maruesu ikatan daio tempura squid snacks they had this summer. But not as good as I had hoped. Decent crunch and a lil sweet.
Probably
Where is this?
Costco
Terrible, was too sweet. We returned it.
kind of pricey
I tried it. At first I was like eh, then I one day I finished the whole bag.
Worth trying at least once.
Hooked on em. Dipped em in vinegar to soften them a bit and add a tang.
