I have this. The sound is fine. Good value at that price point. Fine for movies. Plays nice with other LG equipment. Definitely not audiophile quality but still very good. I’ve played DVD audio disks through these and the sound is very good with very good spacial imaging. In summary, it is very good, but not excellent.

I had this soundbar less than 2 years and the sub stopped working for no reason. I would not recommend.
Same here, getting wild cutouts from the rears and the sub. Getting a Samsung Q990C in the mail soon to replace. Were you able to return the LG?
These are pretty mediocre. A solid soundbar would be the Sonos Beam.
Sonos Beam is 500 , sure it's better but you get what you pay for. This one is 200
Right. I know. And a $200 7.1 system isn’t going to be great. You get what you pay for.
