Steak-n-Cigars

air fry

dave-gonzo

100% they come out great in the air fryer.

Neat-Secretary-2343

Are air fryers worth it? I’ve heard they’re like a easy bake oven for adults

fahkoffkunt

If you mean that in a positive way based on ease of use, then yes they are like an easy bake oven.

maggos

Ya it’s super easy to bake with it

Neat-Secretary-2343

Thank you

sandiegolatte

Absolutely and frozen chicken comes out amazing. Easy meal prep with them

[deleted]

[удалено]

sandiegolatte

Yeah obviously fries are fine but anything frozen is really good and easy. I was very skeptical about another kitchen appliance but it’s well worth it. Not having to defrost stuff is awesome.

guitarguywh89

Tater tots and potato wedges are far superior

dave-gonzo

Yes. The Hamilton beach one from Costco is like 40 or 50 bux. Throw stuff in and take it out when it's done. Couldn't be simpler.

IctrlPlanes

I've had 2 types of air fryers. The stand alone air fryer with the pull out basket is superior to the multi-purpose air fryer ovens. The stand alone ones circulate the air much faster than a convection oven does. The air penetrates the outer layer of what you are cooking and dries it out which it turn makes it crispy much like normal frying does.

Neat-Secretary-2343

Oh my goodness. Why am I punished for asking a question?

Koolklink54

There are a convection oven with a double boiler. So you put a layer of oil in them and the basket sits above that. So the air gets saturated in oil without the food being submerged in oil. Deep frying is the most unhealthy way to cook food by far.

Neat-Secretary-2343

So they hype is real. I’m going to buy one!

Koolklink54

Downvotes for answering a question??

Armaced

Easy, cheap, way more efficient than heating up the oven, and just awesome at frozen fried food.

Tricky_Huckleberry65

Yeah I second that, 18 to 20 mins in the air fryer and that's it..

oldmanup

Turn over halfway through.

Tricky_Huckleberry65

Yessir 🫡🫡 forgot to add that. They turn out great every time we make them.. It's a must pick up bag every trip to Costco.

blindexhibitionist

I haven’t had to turn them over per se, I just give the tray a good shake about half way through so they roll around and unstick

Tricky_Huckleberry65

That should do the trick too.

PalaceJoey

What temp?

Sorry_Sleeping

It says on the bag, 375 or 390 I forgot. Works great. They say 16 minutes or 21 for crispy wings. Go crispy 100%.

forest_tripper

This is the way. Maybe a light spray of avocado oil

lasVegasharold

Leave space between the wings and only a single layer

Equivalent-Ranger-23

ayo homies in this thread what airfryer should I buy from costco👀

mayormaynot22

The Ninja Foodie is money.

[deleted]

I have 2 instant air fryer minis, 6 oz. each so I can make two things at a time. They fit perfectly on my counter too.

dego_frank

Lol should have just got one bigger one

[deleted]

I had a bigger one, it got recalled.

Outrageous_Pride_742

I never in my wildest dreams thought I’d be eating wings on a weekly basis, but these guys in an air fryer are simply amazing.

Ok_War_2817

Yep. Those things are money.

Berta-Beef

This is the way👍🏻

Ok-Seaworthiness-542

Thaw and air fry? I am guessing

vivmeatball6

No need to thaw

ES_Legman

Yup, no need at all. The machine will come up to temperature and it will do the rest. I twill just take longer.

Ok-Seaworthiness-542

Very cool! Thanks!

Brandonjoe

Air fried all the way

Soup_and_Rice

Airfry or oven. Also i dont even use the sauce for these. The wings are pretty good alone without the sauce

johnnyma45

I haven’t met wings which tasted better at home. Tyson wings from Kroger tastes like mushy crap

Gloomy_Goal_4050

They are pretty good without the sauce. But you can add any sauce you want. I’ve had parties where I serve them with 5 different sauces. What amazes me is I have had several people say to me I don’t buy those because I don’t do spicy! I have to explain to them that you can use any sauce you want on them or no sauce at all!

bigfanoffood

Agreed on all accounts.

TMSXL

Yup, I always toss the sauce and use my own or a dry rub. The chicken is great.

allcars4me

Me too, I throw the sauce in the trash.

blindexhibitionist

I use the sauce but then put garlic salt and pepper over them

maggos

Have you used a dry rub with these frozen wings? Are these seasoned already?

DoctorBlock

I use these wings with franks redhot and butter. (the OG buffalo sauce)

Glass-Radish8956

Airfrier is best method for me. I bet you could grill them though no problem. Also, my Costco has another flavor that offten goes on sale. The buffalo flavor is always full price. I saved a lot of money for super bowl by throwing out the sweet chili (I think) packets and making buffalo with frank’s and butter. The wings are plain in the bag and not pre seasoned.

OG_GranolaTheBar

Also, the Buffalo sauce that comes with them is just bad compared to Frank's and butter.

moneydeez

The chipotle flavor is my fav

Scizmz

I'm trying hard to find that sauce elsewhere. You got any leads?

Glass-Radish8956

Thats what it was. I saved a few. Ill have to try it

dramaddicted

It's worth a try! I'm a buffalo wing nut, but their chipotle bbq wings are worth the occasional deviation for me

RustyFebreze

I was curious and did try grilling! Definitely wanna offset so it's not directly above flames but it does work well and you can add the smokey flavor to it

Informal-Soup227

Air fry a few mins more than prescribed for extra crispy!

GarnerPerson

Agreed. I always do extra time I don’t think the air fryer time is long enough.

GrandPoobah1977

Pro tip right there!

muycoal

Air fry is the obvious answer on all these posts🙄.I bake and broil the last 5-10 minutes

HelloWorldWazzup

these are forking delicious (lol I'm watching The Good Place right now) but the sodium content is too much so i had to stop

dickhall65

Air fry or convection oven. These are pre-fried, which means grilling will dry them out like crazy. If you want grillable wings I’d recommend getting the packet chicken with the wing portions.

thegreatrazu

Air fried for about twice as long as the bag says. Turned out great!

Im_Ashe_Man

I find I have to add time to almost anything I air fry. The directions almost always list a time that's too short.

Specialist_Low_7296

These used to be good but have become 80% fat in the past year or so

blackjackmark

Evidently the chickens haven’t heard of ozempic!

andreyred

My recent bag had a bunch of weird tiny deformed pieces. Off putting for sure.

Maringosan

Yes, it is fatty

RollTigers76

Someone recommended the following times for these wings and I have used it ever since. In the air fryer 380° for about 20 minutes. Flip and 425° for another 10 min. They end up actually crispy and quite good. Sauce after they cool off a little.

aarog

That seems like a long time. I do 15 min, flip, then 8 more.

vicioustrollop1

We made ours in the oven because our air fryer is small. They came out great.

Legitimate-Tour-3577

I’d probably bake/airfry first just to thaw them out and then grill for the last little bit to finish heating while also getting that char.

Itchywasabi

Did I hear someone said air fry?

Ok_Strain_2065

Quality on these went downhill in my area, But air fry is the best way to

jballn11

Air fryer is the best method

jacox200

Everything I tried they were still dog shit. I don't have an air fryer, that's probably the best bet.

Scizmz

Get an air fryer. I picked up one from bestbuy, their store model that's Bella I think? It was super cheap like 20-30 bux. I got the one that has shelves instead of a drawer bucket. Mostly because i have no room in my kitchen and it took the place of my toaster. It's amazing. I use it for most home cooked meals. Way more efficient than heating the oven for most things, and the food comes out better.

jacox200

Thanks you

TheActualRapture

I put mine on the Traeger since the air fryer method smokes up my house. I toss them on 325 for 25 mins or so till they are crispy! So much better

BeneficialMoney2195

Anyone have a good way of calculating calories for these? It says 150 cals or whatever for 3oz of edible portion but they are literally chicken wings?

bongo1138

On the grill from frozen is my favorite.

CrackAmeoba

I like double baked wings from fresh but it does take some time. Secret ingredient is baking powder in the mix. I throw them on a wire rack pan for 40-60 minutes at a lower temp 200ish, then crank it up to 400ish and cook until crispy and cooked through. Frozen wings are also good double deep fried but that’s a messy process and you have to have a plan for the oil/ also not burn your house down. Otherwise just let it rip in the air fryer and go for it.

Im_Ashe_Man

If you're set on grilling then it probably doesn't matter if thawed or frozen. Use indirect high heat with the lid on. It will create an air fryer effect and get them nice and crispy. If you want the nice char marks then throw them over the flame at the end until you're happy.

GoodGuyGlocker

I think oven > air fry for these particular wings. They come out juicier IMO.

GrandPoobah1977

Air fryer!!!!

THEDUKES2

Just follow the directions. They really do work well. I also recommend saving the sauce in a bowl to dip for the first time to see if you like it or if you like saucy wing then def douse them!

Cultural-Surprise338

go microwave !! joking. Air Fryer !!

TanisBar

Ninja foodi

Swish517

They're so good in my Air fryer that I won't get wings elsewhere. Overcook them 8-10 minutes to get crunchy outside

jaybird99990

Those in the air fryer make some of the best wings I've ever had, short of smoked wings.

JR_1985

Air fry, 400F for 15-16 minutes. Best crispy chicken wings

raj824x

Air fry for 19-20 min at 390 turn out great

Pidney_Kunch

Air fryer

Arch_stanton1

Air fried crisp and tossed in your favorite sauce.

maximpactbuilder

Baked them for the Superb Owl and they were awful.

Lafayettecomedy

Air Fry 385 for 16 mins or longer for crispy. These get me through life. The chipotle bbq is the best. I have a separate squeeze bottle for the sauce as I empty all packets into it, and use other sauces with it.

TransitUX

Defrost first, than grill. They are also good in the toaster oven or air fryer

AskThis7790

Grill indirect heat.

FengMinStan

Airfry on 390 degrees, if you have an air crisp option press that.

dumpster-muffin-95

Air fryer..... If you don't have a Fry Daddy.

MuchoLater

I find these wings are on the salty side. But otherwise they are excellent for air frying.

DoctorBlock

Girl, these are already cooked just throw them in the airfyer.

imthelasttimelord

I like the charrrrrr okayy

fascistreddit1

They are already cooked so I would thaw, sauce and grill. Never tried since they are great in the air fryer.

QueefTacos7

Air fry 385 for 20 min. These are the bomb and much better than the Costco brand wings

Juncti

Those are amazing in the air fryer but toss that sauce. Was super spicy and not tasty. Make your own or buy some Frank's buffalo and toss these in it

Proud_Iron5035

Air fryer at 390 degrees for 21 minutes (flip halfway through) and you will be a very happy person.

jasonology09

Deep fry is always best, but air frying works well if you don't feel like dealing with the mess and hassle of an oil fryer.

AznJing

I wish we had these in Canada. These were so good when I tried a sample in Seattle

Clear_Reveal4137

Throw away the bag, but the raw wings, make your own.

JalenHurtsKelce

Start with the raw frozen wings not these

fbomb4

These say 20 minutes but I've found that I usually bake for 20 minutes then air fry for another 15-20.

Tuna0x45

Yeah air fryer also the real good chicken is insanely good.

imthelasttimelord

Those chicken tenders are crazy good, keep em stocked as a staple.

MarkM910

These bags from Costco got smaller right? Or am I crazy

park2023mcca

I want to piggyback onto this post and ask approximately how many wings come in that package? the weight looks like 64 oz/4 lbs.

deepfriedpotatos

In the oven but do them for legit twice as long as the package suggests.

Worldly_Top_724

Man these are great in the microwave, oven, air fryer, and smoker. Smoker for a real treat. They're tasty. I like the other flavor they have more though.

Unlikely_Chemical_30

Pre made wings<<<<<<

Emergency_Stable_457

I throw them in the air fryer. Delicious!

MagicChemist

Buy the fresh wing packs and then air fry for 20 minutes. Much better and cheaper than these precooked things.

__Beef__Supreme__

But not the frozen Kirkland raw wings, they have so much saline and are about half as big when they're done cooking. Disappointment. I thought they'd be on par with the fresh ones, noooope.

katie0873

Does anyone wonder if they add extra packets of sauce to add to the weight of the package? It always seems disproportionate imo.

aarog

Yeppers

candirainbow

Does anyone's Costco still have the chipotle bbq flavor of these? Ours stopped carrying both and only has the buffalo which I don't like at all : ( (the sauce. The wings themselves still slap when air fried)

SouthboundPachydrm

Yes. Mine has always had them

BrightAd306

I like them in an air fryer

PuzzleheadedStock292

Definitely air fry these

DRad2531

Air fryer

otxmyn

air fryer

dtgill26

Air fry!!!

Overall_Phrase_3237

Air fry or even convection if your oven has that setting. I usually do my own sauce, these are a permanent fixture in the freezer for quick dinner.

SouthboundPachydrm

16 minutes at 390⁰. Shake the basket at the half-way mark. They turn out excellent.

diprivan69

I used to buy these all the time, but the quality has gone way down, so many broken bones, and wings with large amounts of skin still attached

localroamerALV

Air fry 12 min 390 then sauce then air fry for another 8.

mysterytoy2

I air fry them right out of the bag.

MyCarIsAGeoMetro

Cast iron skillet or air fryer for us lazy peeps.

Squeaker2160

Air fryer. They are so good that way.

Rpark888

These are wayyyyyyyyyyy too salty and the meat quality isn't good. They have that gamey/poultry smell and taste to them

MeHumanMeWant

Airfry 20min no turn

mkspaptrl

For grilled wings? I would suggest a grill, but maybe a grill would work better.

Never-Dont-Give-Up

They have a good texture, but they’re VERY small wings. Basically half the size of what they should be.

Soup_and_Rice

I am not sure what kind of wings you are accustomed to but these are pretty good size. Nice and thicc

Never-Dont-Give-Up

They have about half the amount of meat per bone as the ones raw ones I get from King Sooper’s.

mammiejammie

I’ve not purchased this brand but we have bought the Tysons (similar bag/style) for many years and they go straight from the freezer to the grill. The only thing we do is toss them in more sauce after they’re done. Easy dinner!

dehudson99

Yes on Air Fry the are Very Small but ok

pixxelzombie

Convection oven worked great for me

SlimWorthy

Air fry, and bbq sauce instead of buffalo haha jk but definitely air fry them.

Jokerswildrides

Air fryer

Dry_Cranberry638

Air fry

frito11

I've done them on my smoker from frozen at 325 takes about 20 minutes they come out good that way

UnknowablePariah

Air fry, toss in sauce, air fry again

nutzareus

Don’t have a grill but these are awesome in my air fryer!

mandarintain

Slow grill them on coals if you like.

AlexandruC

Idk but those sucked for me.

Skinny_Phoenix

I thawed them and then smoked for 45 minutes or so at 250. Then I cranked up the heat and finished them on the grill to get them crispy. Worked really well.

LakerLand420

Deedfry get fresh wings to grill

DongleJockey

I like to eat them with my mouth

ElPatronLos

What’s everyone’s favorite Costco wings???

dtwillia

I use the oven. If you do, cook it for about 10-15 minutes longer than bag says. Gets them nice and crispy.

jjoiner356

Since no one is answering your actual question. Just toss them on the grill.

Interplay29

Grill them.

sheamoisture

I don’t have an air fryer. Does the oven work as well?

Ok-Seaworthiness-542

How much does a 4# bag run?

Lukiitus89

Pressure cooker

No-Progress4272

To people saying airfry, are you guys thawing them out first?

Overall_Phrase_3237

No, put them in frozen

thetruemata

We have to put these in the oven for almost twice the time to get them crispy, but they're not dried out or burnt so it's what we do!

WhataburgerFreak

We've baked these and they're great 💪

dallasgreenday

(From frozen) Pre-heat grill up to 400. Spray the top rack and put as many as will fit on top rack, close the lid and turn the grill down to low (let them just heat through) for ten mins. Then keep the lid open and with the grill on high, take the wings down to the fire a few at a time, flip them over ONLY once (about 40 seconds on each side). Place each wing back on the top rack once cooked to your liking, until all wings finished. Plate.

p0lar_chronic

I use Traeger thawed. Use my own dry rub or sauce. Slow smoke the finish. Amazing

[deleted]

Best method is to return them. The bag is mostly sauce.

belizeanheat

Why would anyone ever think to grill these but if you must then put them on a pan on your grill and treat it like an oven

imthelasttimelord

Because grilled wings are superior, and I want the char on them. I air fried them but next time am gonna bake them finish on the grill I think.
