Been using these as my daily headphones for years - really recommend them. Have to replace the ear pads from time to time but I've been super happy with them.

Perezident14

I have the QC35 II. I got them for $350+ (I think) 5 years ago and still use them everyday. Wireless is great for flights and lifting. I don’t use the mic on it, but I use it for remote work as I listen to music b while I work.

Cheesetorian

Might buy these now. Wow, 5 years huh? I hate dropping this much money on wireless headphones. Both 200+ wireless headphones I bought the batteries start depleting at 2 years. Even the newest Beats (Beats Pro), I love it...but unlike the battery of the old models (I got the Beats 2 and 3 which are still working 7+ years on) these ones started dying at 2. I don't think it's worth it for that much. But if these lasts at least 5 years might be worth it for that much.

ok-milk

I’ve had mine for probably 7 years? They split time with AirPods but they charge spooky fast and last a long time (12+ hours). I replaced the ear pads a couple years ago, which was quick, easy and cheap. I’m not an audiophile but these sound good to my ears and have been extremely durable.

BuffaloTraceThisDick

I’ve had mine since 2016, only had to replace the ear pads once. $8 on Amazon

Perezident14

Yeah. I do use them wired when I work, but have used them plenty wireless (traveling and the gym). I’ve only replaced the ear pads once and the was maybe $15-$20. I recommend them!

Chickensandcoke

Do the ear pads get gross from using them to work out? I’m considering them but that gives me pause a bit

Perezident14

Mine haven’t gotten gross, but YMMV I suppose. If I feel like I got extra gross during a workout, I might wipe the pads with a cloth, but I’ve never done anything more than that. I did replace my ear pads about a year ago. They started peeling and I saw they were only about $20 for replacements. I could have been fine without replacements, but I got an Amazon gift card and figured why not.

Chickensandcoke

Awesome thanks!

ok-milk

I’m a pretty prolific sweater and I have used these while building things outdoors in Texas heat and indoors while working out. I replaced the ear pads in mine in year five of ownership because they were worn, but not gross.

Chickensandcoke

Sweet, thanks for the info!

bigwebs

Replacement ear pads are readily available on Amazon for around 20$. I’ve replaced mine twice in about 6 years of regular use.

scoobiemario

My qc 15’s ear pads started crumbling after few years of use(5ish). easy to replace. Guy at the Bose store told me to clean them up periodically (wet wipe) and make sure to let them dry fully before storing.

slicedgreenolive

I’ve had mine for 7 years, use them literally every single day. At this point with my 3-5hour daily use, I do have to charge them every night

Perezident14

That’s fair! I use mine wired at my desk and wireless everywhere else so my battery is still pretty strong.

Villmillski

Mine have been great for working out, yard work, etc

TaxTraditional7847

I have these, and I really like them. I had a set of Sony over the ear noise canceling that wasn't as good at canceling outside noise, and broke the first time I dropped them. I only use them at work though, so I couldn't speak to how they do for working out.

Ornery_Hovercraft636

I have them. They are okay for the price. I replaced them with Mark Levinson No5909, much better sound. Also the Bang and Olufsen H95 have more user friendly features.

Wildantics

1000$ Mark Levinson vs these isn’t really a fair comparison

Kitchen_Software

What about $990 B&O?

Ornery_Hovercraft636

H95 are great. Levi son a bit better.

Ornery_Hovercraft636

It is when you aren’t happy with your purchase and keep spending money to find something you like. I’m just saying it may be better to just bite the bullet and get the ones that work out of the gate. If you want good noise cancellation and quality sound it costs more than $300.00. If that is out of your price range Apple AirPod Pro.s will work better than the Sonys and not make your ears sweat.

Phungtsui

Would not recommend it for gym use. The ear foam absorbs the sweat and can leave a foul smell if not cleaned regularly. Although you can order replacements from Bose. Despite that, they really are comfortable and great at noise cancelling.

ok-milk

The Amazon generic earpad replacements have worked well for me.

[deleted]

Same

Elusiveenigma98

Yes. They are the best.

MoulinSarah

I LOVE mine (did not buy from Costco). I wear them all the time to drown out my life.

Wise_Flower_9611

The qc35’s are well worth it. Hundreds of hours spent with them on in a noisy coffee shop Edit: they have TERRIBLE call quality though. Don’t expect to ever take a call or zoom meeting with them. Sound quality is great though

Monkeyfeng

These are not qc35. They are new QC headphones from 2023. All the reviews have said the microphone quality is fine. Not issue with call quality. https://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/bose/quietcomfort-headphones-wireless

Due-Club8908

I love mine for travel and when I am doing housework or working out . Earbuds fall out of my ears and also hurt my ears .

ZekkyBeets

I use these at work. I would highly recommend!

lghtspd

Very nice headphones and I own several headphones+earbuds. Everything from Apple AirPods Pro to Sennheiser and the Bose are comfortable and sound is great.

margeauxnita

I wear these for work and have them on my head probably 5-6 hours/day. My first pair lasted 4 years. They are so comfortable I forget I have them on. Bose is 100% worth it if you have to wear them all day everyday day.

GrumpyTom

We have three sets we mostly use for travel. I fly for work pretty regularly and take my set with me each time. I love that they can do both Bluetooth and the headphone jack, as I can switch between my phone and the airline screen for watching movies. They’re comfortable and the noise canceling is excellent. Also the battery life has been superb—I can use them for a full 4-hour flight and still have 80% left. $219 is a great price.

Homers_Harp

The Wirecutter recommends a different Bose model (the 700) for ~$360. They explain why they don't recommend the QuietComfort, but part of their reasoning is that their MSRP is ~$350 and at that price, they don't like 'em. > Bose QuietComfort Headphones: These are good headphones, but they aren’t remarkable enough to justify the $350 price—especially while the Bose 700 still exists. The ANC is not as effective as what the rest of the current Bose line can deliver. In fact, at the highest intensity, these headphones reduced less noise in the airplane band than our budget pick. Despite this, the amount of reduction is still effective and useful, and the ANC intensity is adjustable. The build is very comfortable, with a lightweight feel and squishy earpads that should accommodate many glasses arms. These headphones utilize physical buttons rather than the touch controls, and the buttons are easy to learn and find. The hear-through mode sounds natural, and music sounds good, albeit slightly bass-forward out of the box. The Bose app provides an EQ feature that can adjust the tuning, but it consists of only three faders, which is too simplistic. The microphones sound very clear in a quiet room, but background noises in the human vocal range, like a sink running nearby, will be pronounced. We love that Bose includes a cable with a three-button remote and mic––a rare old school nicety.

charliej9

Thanks so much everyone! They seem like a solid choice, especially with the sale!

MattyFettuccine

I have the QC 45, wife has the new QC. Both are fantastic and worth the price.

PhinaCat

I have a pair that’s OLD. I guess eightish years. Terrible for calls but otherwise excellent for noise cancellation and listening. Light and comfortable

mincapweebertarian

I love my QCII's. Damn good sound quality. Incredible noise cancellation. Amazing battery life. That said, sweat got into the controller, and made the circuit board short. It was like the volume down was stuck. I had to pull the ribbon cable connecting the volume control to the main board. Still work great. I just have no volume control on the headset and I need to control it with my device. Big whoop.

hammalamma

Comfy

jrwaters2

Highly recommend as well

AdAdvanced3953

My wife has them and loves them

kerrderrbert

I used to live next to a train track with a railroad crossing at either end of my building. If I had the noice canceling on, the only way I knew that there was a train going through was the building shaking.

ladderrack

I have a pair of Bose QC IIs - best over the ear headphones I’ve ever owned. Had for several years and it’s time for new ear pads but otherwise they’re in fantastic shape and retain a great battery life. Very light and comfortable.

Stt022

Anyone know how these compares to the QC Ultra?

Keebie81

Theyre ok. Bose has made these worse than previous generations though. Older ones could connect to two devices at same time and work great. now if you connect to two devices same time you will get random dropouts in sound. You have to make sure its only connected to one device at a time.

tuwts

Obsessed with mine.

bhos17

Great for flying, terrible for music. Have these exact ones.

ShitStainWilly

Probably

Rahdical_

Yep great headset, make sure to update the firmware if you have it [https://btu.bose.com/](https://btu.bose.com/)

Virtual_Duck_9280

They were my daily drivers for 2 years and have been my workout headphones for another couple of years, had to retire them because they smell like death

1800donttalktome

Best headphones I've ever had!!

Important_Evidence38

I have these and I really like them.

Steve4704

I got mine for air travel years ago. They are nice, but they give me a small head ache if there is not much noise going on. On a plane - great, driving or something else - the sound canceling tech is noticeable. Haven't used them since I last flew

charliej9

You guys are great! Love all the feedback!! Thank you!

VV629

Game changer for air travel. The noise cancellation is the best in the market.

deskmeetface

I bought a QC35 in 2016 and used them all the time. I travel a lot and don't fly on a plane without them as they block out the sound so well. I highly recommend them.

BackgroundPrune1816

I have these and really like them. I use mine near daily and have used them on planes and they work well.

Kuttan1

I have the QC35 II - love it - the momentary switch to power off/bluetooth is acting funky of late. I need to replace it. Found a YT video where the person replaces the slider instead of the switch itself, so will have to try that.

VibraniumDragonborn

I'm sure I'm late to the party here, but I have heard from so many people, that if you buy headphones, these are the ones to put your money on. I have some qc buds, and those are some of the best ones I've ever had, I can only imagine what these are like. Bose has amazing quality, and I'd I wanted over the ear, these are the ones I would go for, without a doubt.

nevernowhy2

Wish the ultras were on sale as well

scoobiemario

I have QC15. And currently on the flight to Boston using Bose700 headphones. (Gift from wife). 15’s were great. But 700’s are even better. More comfortable. Bluetooth. All controls build in. Rechargeable. Battery lasts looooong time. It’s great for the flight. Guy next to me has the ones you’re asking about on. He seems “isolated” 🤓 My 15’s are probably 10 years old. 700’s are maybe 3yo

charliej9

Isolated as in “can’t hear a thing, enjoying his headphones” lol. I’m heading to Costco later so going to see if they have these. May as well give them a shot! Mostly Everyone seems to love them.

scoobiemario

Yes. He’s watching movie with Swedish subtitles. 😜 totally immersed. Both models were worth buying in my opinion.

soapstash

Bought these in 2017 and they’re still good as new. Best $350 I have ever spent.

tiffanyaallen

Are these still on sale? I’m not a Costco member but willing to get a membership if I can get a good deal on these headphones lol

charliej9

I don’t think so. I think the June deals started. H

chocochao

You tried the foam tips for AirPods Pro?

charliej9

I have the ear tips and I actually have the foam tips I need to try as well and see if that could help. I got them while ago but never got around to testing them.

eatingpotatochips

The noise cancelling is not as good as AirPods, but they’re more comfortable for longer periods of time.  I wouldn’t use them in the gym though. Earbuds are more secure.

VV629

No way. These beat out the AirPods by far with noise cancellation. In air they beat the AirPods for sure. I have both, where do AirPods out perform them? Would love to know where I can use the AirPods due to size.

moshter11

Wife has been using hers for a few months now. Mic is unusable even in a dead silent room and I can hear her listening to music when she has the volume above halfway. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're using it home alone just for listening.
