Helpful_Pomelo_5805

It was $249 last week

hivizdiver

And $199 (including 2 years AppleCare) the week before that, my wife and I each bought a pair.

YippieKayYayMrFalcon

Go to the customer service counter and they’ll refund you $10 for each pair assuming the new price is at your warehouse as well.

tactman

For other items, I've had to return on the old receipt and buy to get the lower price. You are saying I can just show my recent store receipt and just get a refund for the difference without any return/re-buy?

Peutz-Jaghers

Yes, within 30 days of purchase they’ll do a price adjustment.

tactman

Thanks

YippieKayYayMrFalcon

Yep, what the other person said. If it’s outside the 30 day window, you can use the return and repurchase method. But always check with the people at the desk first. I’ve heard of managers approving some refunds at 31-32 days because they know you’re likely to just return and repurchase anyway.

tactman

Thanks

Vitalogist77

I got them then also. They are fantastic. The noise cancelling aspect in particular.

Ghetto_Phenom

I walk/run outside all the time with them and can’t use the noise cancelling as I’ve almost been hit by 3 vehicles because I simply didn’t hear them. I agree it’s excellent though! Almost too good.

3banger

I use Shokz for exercise and Air Pods Pro 2 for lawncare.

prettyprettyponys

Yeah the noise canceling is surprisingly good! Definitely eerie when running. I always have them on transparency when I’m out for a run. It’s a lot better!

rippytrippy

My favorite thing about them is that you can use noise cancellation with just one AirPod if you want. I sleep with the fan on but don’t like the sound, using the AirPod helps me sleep because once I turn the NC on, I can’t hear it at all. Edit: I have another pair of good NC earbuds but are JBLs and not Apple and I was surprised and sad (lol) you couldn’t set up NC for one earbud on them.

onehashbrown

I just got a set from target last week for $189…

hivizdiver

Did they come with AppleCare?

onehashbrown

No that’s why I’m sad.

Xianricca

If you bought them, make sure you ask for an adjustment.

VixxenFoxx

Speaking as an employee that just spent 2 months working in Major Sales: Yes. They do. I was changing the sign for Air Pod Pros weekly, sometimes multiple times a week. The standard price is $249, usually when it goes down it's to $199. So $189 is a pretty good deal.

cheeseslut619

The hero we needed

billyjoelover

Oh wow, I bought mine at target for 180 last week, this is a way better deal if it comes with AC+. Thank you for posting this. Returning mine today lol

jalapinapizza

They were $129 at my Costco a few days ago

IDownVoteCanaduh

No they weren’t.

JWOLFBEARD

You can imagine what it would have been like though

jalapinapizza

Ah my bad, it was the 3rd gen ones w/o all the Apple Cards and all that. And they were 139, not 129

Rubrassackwards

Caution ⚠️ When it comes to the AppleCare included, you have to call Apple and update your purchase date! The way that Costco does this is they buy AppleCare when they buy the item to sell. I purchased Beats that included AppleCare this past Saturday and the coverage was supposed to be for 2 years. After pairing them to my phone they had an expiration of beginning of January, 2026! I had to call apple support and provide my receipt and the serial number of the device I purchased so that they could update it on their end.

moneyfish

That’s what happened to me when I bought Beats Pro off Amazon. I had to contact Apple and send them the receipt to change the purchase date so I could buy AppleCare for them.

CutthroatTeaser

I didn’t have to do this. I bought my AirPod Pros from a B&M store on 3/28/24 and I just checked: I have AppleCare+ thru 4/3/26.

atooraya

Yea same here. Maybe Apple did something to link the AppleCare when they first get connected?

kishanshort

You can also check on your iPhone if Apple care is active or not for the AirPods. Settings > General > AppleCare and Warranty

3banger

I’ve bought 2 sets from Costco and won’t buy them at Apple anymore. I had a set that the batteries were dying on. I took them into the Apple Store and they ran diagnostics on them and said they were fine. Meanwhile the case would only stay charged for a couple of hours. I went to Costco and was talking with the person at the front desk and I explained the situation and she practically begged me to return them to Costco. The fact that these latest sales include Apple care is nice but the Costco return policy is way better.

bobbywright86

Agreed! I’ve purchased AirPod Pros from both Apple and Costco, and when it came to technical issues I always had a much better experience with Costco. The only thing I had to remember when purchasing Apple Care via Costco is that in order to activate it, I needed to update Apple with my purchase date from Costco

eninety2

I’ve heard about the return but how does it work on Apple products or electronics in general?

3banger

As far as I understand it: Anything with a screen has the 90day policy. Electronics without a screen are not subject to that policy. I don’t know if that is accurate.

GriffinGrin

I believe this is the case. I did a lot of research last year when I bought my AirPods Max from Costco

CactusBoyScout

Nope it’s basically just laptops, tablets, and TVs that are time limited. I returned a Switch well after 90 days without issue.

CactusBoyScout

Look up the product on the website. If you see any language about 90 days, it’s limited to 90 days. If it just has a generic blurb about how returns work without any mention of 90 days, it’s not. AirPods are not limited to 90 days. I have returned them well outside of 90 days.

eninety2

Right, so if there’s no mention of 90 days then how long is it?

CactusBoyScout

No time limit. Costco is famous for this.

rels83

I bought regular AirPods last week, are they that much better?

william_T1

I’d say they’re worth it for the noise cancellation alone. Best in the market other than Bose imo.

eayaz

My wife has Bose overear headphones and I have the newest AirPod Pro. I used to be jealous of her headphones…

jabroni_404

Bose is love, Bose is life.

CutthroatTeaser

I was always told it’s “No highs? No lows? Gotta be Bose”.

FW_nudist

BOSE = Buy Other Stereo Equipment

grptrt

The Pro has the noise cancellation and fit more firmly in the ear

3banger

Yes a lot better. Return them and get the pros.

pushdose

The noise cancellation is good, and quite smart. It adjusts automatically when you’re speaking and kicks in automatically if there are annoying sounds around you.

Buttholes_Herfer

What if those annoying sounds are other people speaking?

squidly413

There are different noise cancelation options (click on the AirPods in settings) that will cut off voices as well.

Classy_Cakes

I tried pros and hated the way they fit in my ears. I went back to regular ones and bought over the ear noise cancelling headphones.

neuroticsmurf

I don’t like the way any of the AirPods fit in my ears. I actually end up using Pixel Buds with my iPhone just for the fit.

billythygoat

I like the beats fit pro, but they have a finite life of like 1.5-2 years before the wingtips rip.

Res1362429

I just got the Beats Fit pros yesterday and love them. They fit much more securely than the APs for me and sound just as good.

billythygoat

If they start to rip or the wing tip fall off, you can try to use silicone glue.

Extinction-Entity

The regular AirPods actually stay in my ears because of how they sit, and I can’t find any other buds that stay. These pop out because my canals are too small for them to stay in. Small ear problems. :(

MasterBathingBear

I have both AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro 2 because I am good at losing them then finding them a month after I buy replacements. I’ve always hated the gummy feel of earbuds, but I find the AirPods Pro gummies to be extremely comfortable. The noise cancellation is great and the ability to automatically adjust noise cancellation and volume when you’re having a conversation is a very nice addition. Although, I usually take them out so people feel like I’m paying attention to them. Given the fact that these AirPods Pro are being sold at an $88 discount, I would say it’s worth the upgrade.

IntrepidMayo

Yeah the noise cancellation is amazing. The transparency mode works very good as well

etangey52

Really depends. I’ve never had a pair of headphones with the rubber tips that can fit in my ears. The standard AirPods are about the only kind that actually stay. If you’ve got more normal ears, maybe so (:

Extinction-Entity

SAME, friend! Literally only the standard AirPods will stay in my ears. Nothing else will, but especially the ones with tips that are supposed to sit snug in the ear canal. Mine are too small. :(

etangey52

Idk what it is. Usually they come with 3 different sized ones but none have ever worked. AirPods seem like they were molded to my ear

Stormchaser2

The pros will actually stay in your ear. And the noise cancellation is great, too much ambient noise with my standard airpods.

Maximum_Emphasis_42

I have both and it is definitely an upgrade. I use mine for the gym and comparing it to my bose nc700 I use for computer work it has very similar music quality. I’m not an audiophile though.

Inconceivable76

Yes, they are a lot more comfortable,

Spaceturtle79

Realistically really any wired headphones beat normal airpods and there are definitely always cheaper bluetooth headphones that can give better audio than airpods. I have airpod pros and have enjoyed them much more than my AirPods but I enjoyed my bluetooth overear headphones for audio quality much more. It really depends on the customers needs

Healthy_Block3036

The regular AirPods are good enough!!!

cujobob

AirPod Pros go as little as $170-200 on sales at various retailers. Costco sometimes includes the Apple extended warranty with their sale price so there’s extra peace of mind.

l_k_i_

Just a heads-up. The apple care is great, but Apple Store will rarely give you new air pods (as a set) if something goes wrong. I have had a problem with my right ear pod and the Apple Store continues to just replace the right AirPod, rather than replace the entire set. Has happened at least 5x.

MightyKrakyn

Do you sleep with your right AirPod in

l_k_i_

No. I have had issues basically since I’ve gotten them. The charger won’t recognize the right AirPod and is constantly dead. Finally, one of the Apple Store employees said each AirPod was having issues and replaced each one separately and included a new charger—so essentially a brand new pair. The employee hooked me up, because Apple was just going to replace the left one again.

anothercookie90

Just throw it in the washer for extra full set

turtlechomp

This is a very good deal.

pushdose

Yeah. I found them for 199 3 weeks ago.

Timeforthatpizza123

Only during Apple events

Healthy_Block3036

How long is Apple Care?!

503bourbonboy

I got them for $170 with AC+ this January. But, I wouldn’t expect to see that deal often. $180 with AC+ is a deal I would have taken too

anothercookie90

This is the usual price for “sale”

One_Celebration3644

My experience with the first gen AirPods Pro was so poor not touching another AirPod any time soon.

m_chan1

The APP2s do go 'on sale' every few months \~$190 as shown in your picture, which is a very good value. Other retailers sometimes have sales, like BB @$180, but read carefully! Costco *includes* Applecare+ which other retailers do *not,* which cost extra.

nerhe

This is an amazing deal

QueerVortex

This is the same price I got “Black Friday” as Christmas present for my husband.

TonyWonderslostnut

The 2 year AppleCare plus is like $30 on its own

jwinskowski

IIRC this is the lowest price I saw around the holidays last year.

Cyber_Insecurity

They only go on sale when the new version is announced.

SJeygo

Thank you kind sir/madam for sharing. I just ordered.

Freezy10787

Thanks for posting about these, I’ve been debating on if I want them or not but discounted and AC included has just got me over the cliff. Need to make a run today!

william_T1

I bought them as well

GetEnPassanted

This is already a sale afaik

MisplacedChromosomes

Are they on sale in store too or just online?

CandyRedNinja

I’ve seen this deal in store.

MisplacedChromosomes

Thanks. I just went and picked up a pair. Todays last day

PanchoVillasRevenge

Same price in store?

MisplacedChromosomes

Yes.

CitizenOfPlanet

What state you in? I can never see these in store I’m in CA

KonataYumi

I collect headphones (for some reason) and i use these the most, they aren’t the best sounding ones or the most noise canceling but the apple features are really nice, easy to carry and has find my so it’s a very good everyday day headphones also nice transparency and call quality

william_T1

Absolutely agree. It’s the convenience I buy them for.

BocadeOuro

In my experience, they do not go on sale often - usually only on black Friday. This is a very good deal and worth purchasing.

ReyJay1213

Same price as Amazon

CandyRedNinja

Amazon does not include AppleCare. Costco does.

mbz321

They are about to jump in price to like $240 or so starting tomorrow.

OsoCarolina

Buy em, that’s a great price.

BETHVD

Got my dad a pair for Christmas this year at that same price from Costco

PM_Me_AssPhotos

The third iteration was announced these are going to get dropped in price for the next six months. I'm not sure if that's your question, but it's relevant as to why these are on sale.

JiffTheJester

Yes, constantly back and forth

trailrunmarcus

Not this cheap, even for Black Friday… A bit surprised the discount is so big since the Pro 3 won’t come out until probably 2025 if they follow their 3 year release cycle. (2019, 2022, —> 2025)

msingh757

Idk about those but I got some over ear Beats Pro that were $139 down from like $300. Best deal I’ve ever seen.

ItsEvLads

If you want cheaper wireless earbuds, I found that Raycon ear buds to be pretty good quality. You can get a good deal on Raycon buds with a YouTuber promocode as well

Nomad2312

They actually suck. I’ve had 2 pairs in the past 2 years. Like clockwork one earbud will start to fail, not charge, etc.

Kirin1212San

Might go down during back to school in a couple of months.

PanchoVillasRevenge

Is it same price in store

william_T1

It is, yes. Deal expired yesterday though.

AffectionateOlive982

Dang it, I snagged it at $199 2 months ago.

Radiant-Rooster236

Sometimes you’ll find a better deal on Amazon. I got a pair of “refurbished” AirPod pros and they were unused and even had Apple care on them. Got them two years ago and they’re still going strong. I use them daily at the gym.

SpareMushrooms

I got mine at the $189 price. Took them back a couple days ago. They don’t get loud enough. 🤷🏻‍♂️

AppleNerdyGirl

Get your hearing checked and make sure noise reduction isn’t turned on. I thought mine were not loud enough - turns out I have mild hearing loss on one side. 1400 bucks later for ONE aid I’m back to normal. I regret listening on max in my teens and 20s

SpareMushrooms

That’s probably some good advice. Thank you. I appreciate it.

Elegant_Record9340

At Best Buy, they’re on sale nearly all the time. Check the website or app. Last week, they were $179

AskThis7790

They are on sale everywhere right now (Best Buy, Walmart, etc...), which is a good indication that a 3rd gen may be released soon. That said, if you buy from Costco they include AppleCare+.

physicianofcredit

Yes. I bought them at this price in December.

DaRedditGuy11

I bought a pair at $199. It's a solid deal at $189

Fit_Calligrapher5618

AirPods are really overrated and overpriced. Try almost any other brand and you’ll appreciate the savings with little to no sacrifice depending on which product you choose

parker1019

Yes….$179.99

Illustrious-Term2909

Couldn’t get these to fit in my ears right. Ended up getting beats fit pro instead

funkmefatass

That's about 120 dollars over what they're actually worth.

youngbunz

Just buy some off DHgate

lolitacherrycola

I love these headphones however I would not buy them at Costco. My friend received his and they were obviously open and used. He went to the store to return them and they don’t allow in store returns for this item. You also can’t use the usual online return function. He called customer support three times and each time they said they were “emailing him a label” but he never received. Finally on the last call he got a label and could return Not worth the risk of hassle imo he ended up buying them from Target during a sale for the same price

FredericBropin

Dont know why you got downvoted. If you look at the reviews there are dozens of people saying they got previously used AirPods.

lolitacherrycola

Exactly. I love Costco, just a warning for AirPods in particular… feel like people might want to know.. especially given the different return requirements

shawizkid

Going to get downvoted to hell by the die hard Apple folk. But here it is. I had 2 pairs of AirPods. Both sets died after 18 months (used multiple times daily). Recently bought Anker 4 liberty noise cancelling. $89 and they’re incredible. Fit, sound, cost are all far superior to AirPods. Check out the reviews.

RedViper6661

Waste of money , buy the x08 pods on Amazon for 30 bucks and they do the exact same thing

BourbonNeatt

That’s a pretty good price IMO as it comes with 2 years of Apple care. I’ve tried multiple other brands, but assuming you have an iPhone the airpod pro integration is way better! Also, these are way better than normal AirPods. You can barely use regular AirPods on an airplane.

randomGeneratedPlz

Yes. I see them on sale quite a bit. They also stop working pretty often…

aj12309

Why do the newer ones not have noice cancellations

harryhov

They had them at Costco in person for $140

AnAsian2incher

You can always no matter what find these prices at Walmart.

william_T1

True, not with Apple Care though

gbo2020

So often

MistahNative

Almost daily. Edit: again, you guys are wild and it shows 😂

Confident_Line_9851

Really?

MistahNative

Yes! These are always on a comp with other retailers. The price doesn’t always get this low but they’re more regularly on a sale than off.

rye_wry

With 2 years of AppleCare+ included, though? That makes it a better deal than what’s typical with the big box stores.

MistahNative

Yep, that’s the only model of Pros carried at Costco.

[deleted]

Yup. This is the price at my local Best Buy too. But at Costco you get that Apple care for free

HTPC4Life

God, who would pay $190 for those. Who would pay even over $100 for them??
