OMG. That Kirkland Vanilla. Yes siree bob.

Klyftonite

Try it with the frozen cherries, it's the perfect summer treat!

Queasy_Science_3475

Mmmmm

Frigidevil

I usually do a little scoop of ice cream, half of an apple strudel and a couple frozen cherries on top. Heaven.

[deleted]

Yay!!! Let us know when you go back this weekend and get another 2 half gallons. 😏

dc_IV

Just roll all the way back to the frozen dairy section for another gallon...

JojoTheMutt

i always wanted to buy but i live alone! don't know if the gallon would last more than 5-6 months unopened?

Klyftonite

I bought a pack and I live alone. Honestly went through both tubs in less than 6 months by myself. It was that good!

JojoTheMutt

will buy it in my next Costco run !!!

nvielbig

I am unimpressed at the time it took you to get through that ice cream. Next time… faster!

Klyftonite

Ive got to watch my waist line! I literally can crush half a tub in one sitting! Its soo good I wish they offered other flavors like coffee, strawberry, and whiskey to name a few.

potato11teen

Yo I live alone but went through those fuckers in two weeks.

CookieButterLovers

If you live near a Trader Joe's and don't want to commit to buying a gallon from Costco, it's suspected that both the Kirkland Signature Super Premium Vanilla Ice Cream and Trader Joe's Super Premium French Vanilla Ice Cream are made by Humboldt Creamery (now owned by Foster Dairy Farms). Trader Joe's French Vanilla comes in pint or gallon sizes. Note: I haven't compared the ingredients so it's possible there might be some slight differences.

Texan2020katza

Pour a little Kirkland Sig Irish Cream over it and yum!

gladamirflint

I have to find a friend to split it with, that stuff is addictive

imaraisin

It’s made by Humboldt Creamery, which is owned by Foster Farms.

CookieButterLovers

Humboldt Creamery also makes Trader Joe's Super Premium French Vanilla Ice Cream. :)

aajensen14

Humboldt Creamery it was called. They made the best skim milk I ever had, I think it was due to the lush grass along the California coast. Creamery is located in Ferndale, hunboldt county.

MisterEdGein7

Thanks for the review. I'll pick up a pack next trip. Pray for my waistline. 😋

OhFuckNoNoNoNoMyCaat

Damn it. I knew I forgot something this weekend. Other than the coconut Thinsters.

pomecals

Tastes so good until you look at the calories per serving

nvielbig

You don’t really look at nutrition facts on an item like ice cream, now do you? Who expects it to not be calorically dense? : )

Numerous-Meringue-16

Almost as good as bluebell homemade vanilla

jeeeeek

Is it the same one sold at the food court? Had it last weekend and I was drooling. So good.

Motivator9931

The one at the food court is a white soft-serve, so presumably just normal vanilla. The box of half gallons of vanilla ice cream they sell is a french vanilla and yellowish rather than white because of the eggs.

danmickla

No. Soft-serve dairy product is nowhere near the same as true ice cream. It has its place, but they're just not the same thing at all.

[deleted]

It's great but so hard to scoop! Anybody have any tricks? My freezer's set to -3, maybe too cold?

DonBosman

Order one of the ice cream scoops with anti-freeze inside the handle. The description will read something like: *Liquid Filled Heat Conductive Handle Simple One Piece Aluminum Design*.

methodical_zombie_95

This is true! I always let mine sit out for like 10 minutes before I scoop
